  If you think staying at home while its pouring is the best way to do it, think again. Despite the rain, we still enjoyed our meal outside of Brasserie Julia. Happily, they have enough tables for those who do not have reservations. Staffs were friendly and we enjoyed the food. Biestuk van de ossenhaas (met pepersaus) is really tender and juicy! And the creme brûlée is simply magnificent.

  We would like to eat here. After we took place one of the waitress told us she is sorry but they are full today. 10 of the tables were free. We said of course it's okay. Why do I post this bad recession? Because we were eating the in the restaurant a door ahead. After 2 hours of the 10 tables there were still 7 empty. So not full. I really felt not welcome

  Staff is very friendly and helpful. But it wasn't a great experience to see the owner of the place piss drunk talking to his staff and smoking inside right next to customers trying to enjoy their evening.

  It took almost 2 hours to deliver a couple of burgers! We were visiting Brasserie Julia on a warm Saturday night with 3 children and 4 adults. They reserved us a table out on the front of the restaurant which was nice considering the warm weather. Since we were with children most of us ordered the 'American Burger'. Then a very long wait began. We had to wait almost 2 hours for the burgers to arrive. The staff did apologise for the long wait and offered us complementary coffees. However that did not make up having to wait 2 hours for a couple of burgers. Got reservations at 6:30 and left at 9:30 only having eaten a burger and drank a cup of coffee. Not worth the wait. Also glad we did not order the more expensive dishes.

  Waited 5 minutes to get noticed despite the staff welcoming us. Asked for drinks and food menu, this was provided. We made a choice but again kept waiting to be noticed to place our order. Eventually walked out to the restaurant next door and was served immediately.
