  We enjoyed our stay in this Holiday Inn Express hotel. Clean and quiet room, good bed size, multiple channel TV and comfortable chairs. The breakfast is ok, the diner menu limited but fine quality. The location is superb in a shopping area with fast food restaurants and next door to the railway station to Amsterdam Central station, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Utrecht and the north of the Netherlands.   Absolutely awful stay – dirty hotel, poor service, and unacceptable room changes I had a terrible experience at this Holiday Inn in Almere. When I first arrived, I had a reservation for a specific room and at first glance everything seemed okay. However, the air conditioning wasn’t working at all. After complaining, they moved us to a much smaller room – without any explanation or compensation. Later, I realized they had changed my reservation details in their system without my consent. The hotel itself was not clean – the room had a stale smell and felt like it hadn’t been properly cleaned. The service was rude and dismissive. I was originally charged for a larger room and ended up being placed in a downgraded one. No apology, no refund, and no accountability. It felt like they just didn’t care. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Would never stay here again and would strongly advise others to avoid it. A complete disappointment.

  What an amazing hotel. I am so happy with the service. Such clean rooms, very good breakfast and friendly staff. We will surely come back!

  Room was nice and clean, beds were comfortable ( I was in a room with two singles) Train station is right outside the hotel so easy to get into Amsterdam and to and from the airport aswell as direct train there . It is a bit of a way from either though so be prepared to wait on the train. Lots of places to eat too, feebo plus a few other fast-food joints and lots of other independent restaurants around the corner. You alsothere's even a supermarket too. Now am giving it 3 stars as if you are planning to vist Amsterdam, it is a bit of a hastel to get to and from Amsterdam Central as the train is only every 30 mins and can take 40 mins to arrive. The breakfast was pretty good too, basic but standard. My only complaint was no buckets for ice to take up to your room? Usually a standard thing at most hotels and the last holiday inn express I stayed in in the Netherlands provided them but they gave me cups which is okay I guess There's also no bottle opener in the rooms which is a shame. Overall staff seemed friendly, didn't even interact with them much as everything was perfect.

  Nice hotel, next to the train station. Very nice staff, Shagufta helped me during checkout she was amazingly helpful. The manager Alex was also very friendly and a lovely person!
