I bought two bikes there and I had good service. When I returned to for standard maintenance, I just wanted to leave the bikes and I was waiting someone to be available. The salesman (the same one that was really nice when I bought the bikes) told me something in Dutch in a harsh way, I apologized for not speaking Dutch, he told me in English that I should move (I was in the door but there was space, another customer pass through with his bike with no problem), I said "I'm sorry" and started moving, he continued in a harsh way "You are in the entrance, just use your brain!", I told him that it was not necessary. He just pass through and ignored me. Well, I took his advice and used my brain to find another bike shop, where we had great service 😃

I came to you with a flat tire. Normally, I can just leave my bike there and you'll fix it when I have time. But now I'm told we only work by appointment. I couldn't leave my bike there, which is a shame, so I had to take it home. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem. It would be great if you mentioned this on your website, because I checked, and it doesn't say you only work by appointment for flat tires.

Finally a bike shop where you don't want to turn around right away... You know them: those bike shops where you walk in and are immediately attacked as if you're coming to steal an e-bike. Not at Kiestra. That's where it is: quiet, friendly, helpful without being pushed into a sales trap. They just ask questions, really listen to what you're looking for and then give advice that you can actually use - whether you come for a brand new city racer or a used mother's bike that doesn't squeak at every paving stone. What I also think is great: A lot of choice, without drowning in 73 types of standard models Nice people behind the counter and in the workshop And: you've also come to the right place for maintenance. No vague prices or weeks of waiting, but simply well organised. Kiestra is one of those shops where you leave with a good feeling. And where, when you come back for maintenance, you don't first have to explain who you were. Highly recommended.
