  This was a beautiful and romantic hotel among the canals of Amsterdam. While there is no lobby or elevator, the rooms are well furnished and warm. The location is also great for exploring Amsterdam on foot. We really enjoyed our stay here.

  This was a perfect location to experience the neighborhood ambience of Amsterdam. It is in a historic area on an inner canal. It is close to a variety of restaurants and within walking distance to the Anne Frank’s house and museum, the train station, and tram ways which cheaply gets one around the city. The Hop-on -Hop Off canal boats are right across the canal. The host lives in the same location and is readily available for help. He was very accommodating to us. Our suite had all the appropriate amenities. We would stay there again and will recommend it to our friends and family.

  What a beautiful place. I've stayed in a lot of places in Amsterdam, this was by far the best. Great host, lovely beds, great interior. A lot of hotels in Amsterdam are average, this is far from it..

  Never been so dissapointed with a ‘hotel’ before! I can’t even call it a hotel, it was more apartments. The host was very unhelpful. They had no reception so I couldn’t get help when I needed. The website did NOT state it was a shared bathroom! I paid a lot of money for the two nights, way more than it was worth. The stairs were so steep, there was no elevator and super narrow to the point it was dangerous. He took a €200 REFUNDABLE deposit which I have never got back. I paid around 400 for the two nights I was meant to be staying there but felt that uncomfortable I paid another £500 to change hotel; I must have been in this place for around 1.5 hr before leaving. I tried to find the host/owner and of course he was no where to be found. I also emailed and called numerous times to let him know we were not staying and to get the deposit refunded but no response from him! DO NOT STAY HERE! This was my 3rd trip to Amsterdam and it was horrendous! Wasted so much money and will not refund me, let alone respond. Would rate it 0 stars if I could!

  Awesome location! More of an Air BNB rather than a hotel. Owner is very nice. Not front desk but he accommodates for check in and out. Note there are house rules such as no drugs and guests so it's great for the older crowd looking for a nice rest as you get the very best location to explore the city.
