This place takes scammed me. I’ve been going there for several years and I was already not very happy with the service as I felt like their repairs were lowering in quality but what took the cake is that they charged almost 40€ for adding a chain case even though they told me it would cost 20-25€. When I asked why the price change, they said they charge a repair in same day fee, even though they never told me that whenever I dropped off my bike and I didn’t ask them to fix them urgently or anything. Avoid this place and go to the repair shop located in Amstel Staation for better quality repairs and reasonable prices.

My favourite bicycle shop ever! Always quick and helpful - and very honest advice every time. Whether it is my city bike or one of my Zieleman road bikes, service is always quick and impeccable. If you cannot handle strong advice or old-fashioned Amsterdam-style honesty, go elsewhere. If you want your bikes road worthy all year, this is the place. And please remember, bring them in for maintenance once in a while, not only when they are broken.

Left my racing bike for the installation of a front derailleur. Passed by the shop a few weeks later to find out they had not managed to receive the piece and needed more time. Called a month later to find out they had tried but not succeeded with the installation, and that I needed to come pick up my bike and bring it elsewhere. Came by to find my bike still partially in pieces ("so I could take it elsewhere") and full of rain water since it was hanging outside behind the shop. I had to come back the next day to get it back in one piece. I also had to pay 25€ for this - I would have been glad to pay for their effort had they just communicated what was happening for so long and if they had not left the bike under the rain.

Never again! I went there as I had troubles with my front wheel and asked for advice. The guy didn't event look at the bike properly and got super rude when I said that I'd like to know a price estimate instead of leaving the bike there and just paying whatever he tells me afterwards. In the end I didn't leave my bike there and can say that I definitely won't come back.

Been to NL Tweewielers twice now, great service both times! First time I had a new chain put on, second time a new rear tire. Extremely quick, took my bike in in the evenings, and it was ready before midday the next day. Also quite reasonably priced compared to other bike shops in the area!
