The hotel is well located, although the immediate surroundings are a bit run-down. Breakfast is generous and well prepared, the facilities are well maintained, and the staff is friendly and attentive. However, the main downside was the discrepancy between the photos and reality: the beds looked larger in the pictures, as did the room itself. That can be frustrating, since booking decisions are often based on those images. It would be helpful to update the photos to better reflect the actual dimensions. Also the welcome drink is poor and they don’t tell they rent bicycles.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and the location is super convenient—just a short walk from the train station. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Izarra at the reception. She was incredibly kind and professional, and I really want to thank her for making my stay even better.

Stayed here for 7 nights in a 3-bed room. First things first: You do not come here for the view (our room faced a bus-terminal) or the pleasant surroundings (large public trash cans next to the main entrance lead to a walk through rubbish - or worse - more than once) but because it is a bit off-center but easy to get to central Amsterdam (metro runs frequently and gets you to central station or Rokin in 5 to 10 minutes) Our room was modern, clean and well-furnished, and sufficiently spacious; only the forced ventilation (that cannot be turned off) is a bit annoying. Other than the ventilation noise (which can be ignored unless you are very sensitive to noises) the room was quiet. The breakfast buffet, unfortunately, is somewhat uninspired. While it covers all your needs, there is nothing standing out and especially the warm food seems "flat". Plus-side: You can get omelettes upon request. Breakfast room is shared with the Tibe Hotel but was never overly crowded. Reception staff was mostly helpful, however a booking error (made by the reception staff) meant that I was forced to pay for breakfast in the restaurant on two days, even though I had booked a full breakfast package for the entire stay (as was confirmed to me by mail before. Only after continued inquiries via email was I refunded the overpaid breakfast. Housekeeping was a bit below par at first (used glasses were not cleaned/replaced), but this improved after a complaint to the reception. We received a voucher for the bar as compensation.

This hotel is in a convenient location, very close to the metro, grocery stores and eateries. There is a nice food court within close walking distance. The rooms are decently spacious and clean. Just a small mention... the showers have no shower door. So water tends to get on the floor outside of the shower. Also, as with most hotels in Europe, wash cloths are not provided so you may want to bring your own. Otherwise, this is a very nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay. It's also very decently priced.

It started before I even arrived. The email with "important advance information" contained several broken links. Not only about parking (information I needed), but even the link to the hotel's website was broken. When I subsequently requested the information I needed via chat, I received no response, nor by email after closing the chat, as promised. Still haven't heard anything, by the way. So I figured out how to park on-site. From the parking garage, finding the reception desk was a maze/puzzle, at least for me as a stair climber. (I heard afterward that it would have been completely clear with the elevator.) None of this would have been necessary if the information had been available beforehand. The worst part was that the room windows were locked and couldn't be opened. The air conditioning was extremely dry, causing me to wake up half a dozen times during the night with a parched mouth and throat. If I'd been able to open a window instead of being at the mercy of the air conditioning, I could at least have had a good night's sleep. The next morning brought a breakfast buffet where all the "hot" dishes were lukewarm or even cold. (The coffee was good, though.) All in all, a very disappointing experience, not worth the almost 200 euros I had to pay for it. Incidentally, the room was very tidy and spotlessly clean, as was the entire hotel. Excellent TV with Cast options, great Wi-Fi, and a comfortable bed (which I would have liked to enjoy much more).
