I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Amsterdam! The cleanliness was absolutely top-notch – the room was spotless, and the bed sheets were changed every single day, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was another highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options to choose from each morning. Check-in and check-out were both quick and efficient, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The staff truly made a difference – always smiling, professional, and ready to help with anything. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again! Location is good. Train station and Trams are right beside Hotel . Good connection with city centre (15 min ).

We had a really pleasant long stay at The Social Hub Amsterdam West. It was the best value-for-money option we found: the extended stay rates were very reasonable compared to other long-stay options in Amsterdam. The room had a small kitchen, was clean and comfortable, and the metro and tram stations were just a 3-minute walk away. The atmosphere is relaxed and social, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. A special thanks to the manager, who was very supportive and professional, and helped us with several questions during our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a convenient and affordable place to stay in Amsterdam.

Stayed here from 2024-2025. Paid around 1200-1300 euros. But instead of getting a hotel room with a queen bed like at TSHs Groningen and Eindhoven, this time I got a standard student dorm room with a single bed. In my opinion, it was definitely overpriced. But in Amsterdam, you take what you can get. At least, the price also included free laundry and monthly room cleaning. There is also in-house study room as well as gym. And if you are hungry, TSH Amsterdam West also has its own cafe. Although it must be admitted, the price is not the most student friendly. But with the 20% discount, it is still quite affordable. The staffs of both the hotel and the cafe are extremely friendly. Location-wise, it is located quite far from the city centre. Thankfully, the Metro station is located just outside the premises. Both VU (ca. 10 minutes) and UvA Roeterseiland campus (ca. 20 minutes) are accessible via the M51 line. BUT... my room was located at the Railhouse building. The laundry room, unfortunately, is located at the main building (Towerhouse). So everytime I wanted to do laundry, I needed to walk to another building which can be annoying after some time. Not to mention, I think TSH Amsterdam West is one of the more older TSHs out there. So, particularly with Railhouse, there were often problems with the elevator and water.

The good: right next to metro and trams, and short walk to train and bus station. Not terribly far from the centre with any method of transportation, but could be closer. Is what it is, just debate how you are going to be getting around when deciding if to stay. The room was good size and decent bathroom. That being said, the sheets situation is horrible. The cleaning schedule is hard to understand and there is no warning. The lack of cleaning services, even things like supplies is a big issue. Make sure to bring your own Toilet paper cause you’re not getting any. The front desk is also very unorganized. Most of the people were polite. There was many issues with having to move rooms with no warning, mantinice happenings with no real information given. Food was also thrown out for no reason from shared spaces and private cubbies . The wash machines are incredibly tiny and often my clothes came out smelling horrible. For how much this cost, it was not worth it. Not a horrible place to stay technically, just needing improvement to better match the price.

We had some inconveniences but overall it was pretty good, cafe, community space, laundry room and the coworking space are perfect. The room description clearly says the rooms are air conditioned but it wasn't working on the first night after we checked in. The hotel phone wasn't working either for the entire duration of our stay. When I reached out to the receptionist, he said they don't have an air conditioner but "climate control" (???, so what?) -- but anyway he got it fixed. I hate to be a pedant but the room description literally says "air conditioned". They also have bulky square pillows which was quite impossible to sleep on so I mostly slept without a pillow
