  Must-Try for Dutch Cuisine Lovers – Stamppot, Amsterdam We stumbled upon Stamppot in Amsterdam without a reservation, but within five minutes, the incredibly accommodating team managed to find us a spot—an impressive start to what turned out to be an unforgettable dining experience. The manager greeted us with a warmth that immediately made us feel at home. The service throughout was just as friendly and welcoming, adding to the charm of the place. Now, the food… absolutely outstanding! We tried the smoked sausage, meatball and the pink burger— all 3 dishes were bursting with flavor. The meat was exceptionally juicy and cooked to perfection. Every bite was a delight, capturing the essence of hearty, comforting Dutch cuisine. If you’re in Amsterdam and looking to experience traditional flavors with a modern twist, Stamppot is a must-visit. Between the mouthwatering dishes and the genuinely friendly staff, you’ll leave with a full stomach and a big smile.

  Absolutely amazing place, food was fantastic. So traditional, and the atmosphere was great. Best of all were the staff- attentive, funny and friendly. Nothing was too much for them. Cost was brilliant, very good value for such great quality food

  We wanted to eat at this traditional Dutch restaurant in Amsterdam, and even though it was fully booked, the waiter went out of his way to find us a spot in the evening. Huge thanks for that! The food was absolutely delicious – definitely one of the best decisions we made during our trip. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, and we felt welcome from the very first moment. I would recommend this place again and again, and I’ll definitely come back the next time I’m in Amsterdam!

  Dutch cuisine for dinner.. Booked the place based on The Fork ratings and rank & not disappointed at all. They were kind enough to push our reservation by 30 minutes. The server was kind to suggest the beer options and non-beef options. Ambience was good. Dutch beer lived up to its expectations. Starter herring was so fresh & their traditional Stamppot dishes were also good. The French toast desert was the best of the lot. Definitely worth visiting if you’re searching for local cuisine when in Amsterdam; definitely book before you go.

  Authentic Dutch cuisine, the food was very tasty and the staff were very kind and welcoming. We would definitely come back again and recommend this place to our friends. And the tableware was so beautiful too!
