Beautiful spa and spa facilities. The Deluxe Massage was very expensive and definitely not worth the price. The restaurant is also disappointing and very over priced for what you get. I ordered the entrecôte steak, medium, and it arrived super well done, really not good. I’m happy to splurge on good food and relaxation, but I certainly won’t be coming back to this spa to do that! I’d recommend only going for the spa (just be sure to bring your own slippers, robe and towel and water bottle!), I don’t recommend wasting any time or money on the treatments and definitely not the restaurant.

My boyfriend and I used the sauna and wellness facilities, but not the hotel itself. We were met and greeted by the loveliest receptionist, who explained everything very well. We had a really good time, and the event sauna was great. The bar and restaurant were also nice, and all the drinks and food were presented beautifully. I read some of the reviews and was surprised to see so many dissatisfied people. It seems like it’s mostly the cheap ones just trying to get free stuff. Overall, it’s a more than nice sauna for a 3star hotel complex and definitely worth the price.

I came to Spa Zuiver for inner peace. Steam, silence, maybe a whisper of eucalyptus and the gentle sound of my chakras realigning. Instead, I found myself in what felt like a bathhouse meet-up for people who missed the “quiet zone” memo entirely. The steam room? A group therapy session. The cold plunge? A splash contest. The saunas? Acoustically engineered to amplify gossip. At times, I looked around and thought: Am I still in Amsterdam… or have I stumbled into an open-air market with better towels? A mysterious transformation, really. Look, the facilities are still solid. But Spa Zuiver used to be a sanctuary. Now it’s become a social club in robes. Management: a gentle nudge—maybe bring back the “spa” part of the spa. A little hush enforcement could go a long way. Until then, bring noise-cancelling headphones and low expectations for serenity. Or better yet—steam yourself at home with a kettle and a towel. No crowd managers needed.

Don’t be fooled, this is not a luxurious “hotel”. Don't be fooled by the website — this is not a luxury hotel. My partner and I booked a superior room with spa access, expecting a luxurious experience (as advertised on the website). What we found instead felt more like a motel combined with a public wellness center. The "hotel" is in a separate building across a parking lot from the wellness center. The reception is in the wellness center, which also did not have a luxurious feel, not relaxing or exclusive in the slightest, but rather felt very public. There was also no lounge, bar etc. - areas one would expect for a hotel. The room was a major letdown: it did not feel clean (floor was vacuumed, and surfaces were wiped - but it did not feel clean), with stains on walls and fixtures, dust/spiderwebs in the ceiling, and an overall neglected feel. The outdoor hallways were dirty and littered with cigarette butts. It did not meet hotel standards, let alone luxury ones. We politely raised our concerns immediately and made it clear we wouldn’t be staying. Despite this, the staff offered no refund or compensation beyond €30 per person for the unused spa — a small gesture considering we also didn’t use the room, the included breakfast buffet etc. It’s worth noting the hotel did not seem fully booked, so offering a refund wouldn’t have cost them a lost reservation. Ironically, when another couple, next to us in the reception, asked to view the room prior to purchasing, they were informed that it wasn’t possible and were instead referred to online photos. I rarely write reviews, but this experience was exceptionally disappointing — both in terms of the misleading advertising and how the staff handled our concerns.

I can't comment on the hotel as we just bought the Wellness package but what we experienced was nothing short of incredible. It was a naked day, which had been very clearly stated on the website, and everyone was extremely relaxed, quiet and friendly. The cocktails and wine as well as the lunch we had were good, and the staff were very friendly. I truly haven't had a more relaxing time anywhere else in this city, the facilities were also never too crowded but of course you cannot expect to be alone on a Saturday at a wellness spa! Everything we encountered was clean, and the massages we had were wonderful. I cannot fault this place, and I will be back very soon!
