  I brought my bike in for a gear issue, and they mentioned a possible problem with the back wheel. I was surprised to be quoted €500 for the repair, which is well above the average cost in Amsterdam, even for wheel replacement or full servicing. I didn’t receive a clear breakdown of the price, and it felt excessive given the initial issue. I would recommend asking detailed questions and comparing prices with other shops before committing.

  Bring it here if you can wait a month to have your bike fixed. Brought the bike mid April, they said they will call within a week with a budget. They only called after two weeks and after myself going to the shop several times to ask if they could have had a look at it yet. Once they called with a budget, easy fix as it was general servicing and two flat tires, they said they are very busy and earliest could be done is at least in another week (which I dont even believe at this point). Got the bike back and will bring it somewhere else where they do not sit on the bike for two weeks, to then take a simple look and park it again until they find spare time to fix my bike. I did not feel like a customer and it looked like they are making me a favour to fix the bike in one month. As said, if you want to test your patience, bring the bike there and enjoy the ride!

  I bought my bike at Bankras about 10 years ago and have regular updates for breaks, wheels, bells, seat, bags, light, what ever needed. Excellent service. Super selection. Office upgraded to 'digital' so you get a friendly call reminding you of your bike appointment and notifying when bike is ready for pick up. Highly recommended !

  Very nice person, was busy with work but still took time to help us with our brake problem. Even if it was not complicated he saved our evening ! And hé did not even want to charge for the trouble.
