  Stunning hotel. The artwork and design is first rate throughout all the common areas and the rooms are equally nice. Staff were friendly and very accommodating, allowing for check-in two hours early after my flight from US. Location is great, too. It seems to be no more than a 20 minute walk from any attraction. A great option if you’re looking to explore the city on foot. I can’t say enough about this property.

  Came to London for work, stayed here, and suddenly questioned if I was actually on a business trip or just starring in a sleek British rom-com about an overworked American rediscovering joy through room service. The hotel’s got that “cool without trying too hard” energy. Lobby vibes? Hip but not too hip—like a Soho House that actually wants you there. Staff? Lovely. Genuinely helpful. One even gave me directions without making me feel like a confused toddler lost in a cobblestone maze. Room was spacious, clean, and had the kind of lighting that makes you look 12% more successful in the mirror. Great shower, great bed, and zero weird hotel smells. You know the ones. Perfect launchpad for weekend London adventures and just business-y enough to pretend I wasn’t having way too much fun. Would 100% stay again. Might even fake another work trip.

  Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this well-designed hotel. The bed was very comfortable, and the furniture and furnishings were both stylish and of high quality. The room was spacious enough and felt comfortable for central London. The hotel was also exceptionally clean throughout. Cons: Lack of sound and vibration insulation. We could clearly hear and feel doors slamming in the hallway (or possibly from other rooms), which actually woke us up several times during the night. It was quite disruptive and detracted from an otherwise relaxing experience.

  Our stay at Bankside Hotel in London was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived—well before check-in time—they treated us like we just arrived home. We mentioned we were traveling on our honeymoon, and despite arriving at 9 AM (with no prior notice), the staff welcomed us with complimentary breakfast while they prepared our room. The breakfast was incredible and set the tone for the rest of our stay. When we got to our room, we were stunned to find rose petals arranged in hearts on the bed—something we hadn’t requested but would normally be part of a premium package. Later that same day, we returned to find a chilled bottle of champagne in an ice bucket and a dessert with a handwritten “Happy Honeymoon” note. Again, all complimentary and completely unexpected. It was thoughtful, generous, and genuinely touching. Every member of the staff we interacted with was warm, professional, and eager to help. The room itself was spacious, spotless, and beautifully modern. We also loved the water tap in the hallway—a surprisingly convenient and eco-friendly touch. The art exhibit inside the hotel added an elegant and creative vibe to the whole space. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. Right next to Blackfriars station, we had an easy ride from the airport via public transportation and found ourselves in the heart of London, close to so many attractions. We can’t recommend Bankside Hotel enough. This place went above and beyond to make our honeymoon unforgettable. Thank you for the incredible memories!

  Outstanding family stay at the Bankside. Service was impeccable but relaxed. Special thanks to Kasha for going above and beyond to make us all feel comfortable. Perfect location with easy tube and bus access. Art activities were a thoughtful touch and a huge hit with my kids! Very sad to leave.... we will be staying here again!!
