  Although the location is brilliant I had a hideous experience there. I got bitten by bed bugs all over my body causing me a lot of pain and anxiety. The room was infested. I couldn't sleep and needed to work the next day. No one offered apologies or anything, I needed to get rid of my clothes and bags as soon as I could due the infectious these species are. They've changed my room to another one with the same problem so, if you are considering making a reservation there, make yourself a favour and forget about it FOREVER. Images are sensitive

  I stayed here a few weeks ago and I'll tell you something - it definitely isn't the 5 star reviews that are being posted. Check them out - you'll see they're all new subscribers to tripadvisor and for most of them, it's their first and only review so far. Amazingly, they all loved the place so much they just had to create a tripadvisor account to leave their only review! Sorry Travelodge team, you're going to have to do better than that. I won't be back anytime soon either because I value honesty in reviews/people.

  On the shabbier side of travelodge. Very rarely any staff at reception. No food/drink provision and the rooms are not clean. You can get much more for your money but they rely on brand loyalty. Don’t bother with this one. Also it’s loud with people drinking in the courtyard below. Directly outside the windows are super bright lights so you can’t open the curtains at night. And they wont store any luggage or clean the rooms when asked.

  Great location. But you need to be a very heavy sleeper to sleep through late night (after midnight) and early morning (5am) deliveries in the small back lanes. The windows couldn't be reached to close without standing on a chair.

  A good location for the City. The bed and bathroom were clean. The carpet was not very clean with red stains on it and the radiator made a buzzy noise that woke me up. The cheapest rooms face an alley so I woke up to the noise of alcohol influenced people in the alley at night-time once. Saying that the location is excellent for the City, it's relatively cheap, the bathroom was good and the hotel was fairly quiet on a Sunday. The staff were also welcoming.
