Had a fabulous meal tonight. We wondered in unexpectedly without a booking, the atmosphere was lovely and got seated quickly. Staff were really attentive, and food was to die for! Will definitely be back!!

This place is in a very prime location, just in front of the Bank of England and has beautiful views from the garden over the city. The food is there amazing, the wine lost is good and the prices are very reasonable for this kind of establishment. Overall, it is a good place to go for a meal or drinks.

Faultless service, breathtaking views and incredible food at Coq D'Argent. My husband booked this as a surprise for our anniversary and from the moment we took the lift up to the rooftop, everything was perfect! The dining room was beautiful but we chose to sit on the terrace as it was beautiful weather. It was heated and had blankets as well for when it is colder. The crusty mini loaf they brought to start was delicious. I had the signature lamb shank and he had the entrecote, both were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Kayes our waiter was so lovely, friendly and efficient and had us smiling throughout the meal. The drinks terrace is huge with unbelievable views over London's city skyline. Lots of space for drinks and a huge space! Greg the Manager and Lorena were brilliant and run all extremely busy space amazingly for the number of covers! Extensive wine list (over 700 options!) Highly recommend but would call ahead and book first to avoid disappointment. Great for couples, friends and large groups as they have different areas to serve everyone.

This place is a rip off. Overpriced, with lacklustre drinks and service. Save your money and go somewhere else. 5 of us just got back from eating here for my brother in law's birthday. We sat upstairs in the garden patio. Customer service was disorganized not attentive. Once the drinks waiter came to deliver our drinks, first he gave my wife the wrong one. Then I got my brother in laws drink, once his came he switched them when we inquired about the colour (his had something green in it so I knew it wasn't mine). Next my sister in law and her mother had their drinks mixed up (though they were visually almost the same) (There obviously isn't any sort of system for know what drinks go where. Here's a clue - if you don't know ask the folks at the table. This means that EVERY SINGLE PERSON of us 5 had been given the wrong drinks. Once we got our drinks the real disappointment came. Mine was a "Mexico on the roof" which was 24 quid. Photo of the basically coloured ice water that was served attached. Notice it looks the exact same as my brother in law's other than the colour. 2 of our mains were undercooked - my mother in law had to have her tuna cooked again (was raw in the middle) and my brother in laws veal was undercooked which he dealt with. The last insult was on visiting the men's restroom - it was dirty and smelled like urine. My mother in law paid for this - and I felt really bad for her. I didn't want to make a scene but I would have demanded the manager sort something out. The least I can do is warn others don't get swindled like we did. You can rest assured that we'll never be back and will steer anyone we know away.

Popped in for a quick lunch with friends. They had a lunchtime special which was very reasonable at £20 for a steak and desert. The food is beautifully presented and full of flavour. Really top notch. The English beef onglet was really scrumptious. The Crème brûlée was absolutely perfect. Everyone had an excellent meal and if you’re looking for really excellent French style food I’d highly recommend Coq d’Argent.
