  Last visited April 2025 Dropped by during Kings Day weekend. Dining solo, so I had a good spot at the bar. Great service and so was the food. Definitely worth a visit. Take a look at the pics.... Thank you all. Accepts both cash and card.

  We made a reservation a day in advance, which turned out to be necessary because the restaurant was fully booked. On the advice of an acquaintance, we chose a spot at the bar. The restaurant has a chic appearance and a great interior. There are a few spots that looked like you were very much in the way of staff and passers-by, such as near the toilets or along the bar. The staff is neatly dressed and receives you as you would expect at a gastronomic restaurant. However, there is a big difference in level among the staff. Where the younger staff is extremely neat, the apparent manager compensates for that with her informal and friendly approach. That approach is not necessarily experienced as negative, but it did feel like a misplaced signature to this restaurant. The food was incredibly good. Apart from a - to our taste - slightly cold steak, there was nothing to complain about in the quality, freshness, presentation and preparation of the food. All the plates we saw passing by looked good and tasty, definitely a reason for us to come back again. The service was somewhat mediocre on this busy Sunday evening. For example, part of our order was forgotten. The service also seemed responsible for the dishes, which meant there was no time to give the tables proactive attention. This even meant that we didn't have any closing drinks, even though we actually wanted to. Because we hadn't received any attention for fifteen minutes and our empty plates were still standing, we decided to ask for the bill and get a dessert elsewhere. A waste for both the guest and the entrepreneur. Final conclusion: You come here for the food and the beautiful place. I believe that the service was an exception. The somewhat friendly manager gives the restaurant a somewhat confusing signature. Because is it a bistro, a simple restaurant or a neat place for which you pull out a nice outfit? I would still choose the latter.

  The food was delicious. They did not let us taste the second wine with one of our dishes from the Copain menu, while they did do so with the first wine. That was a shame. We were received very warmly by the service, but we were close to the kitchen and noticed some tension between service and the kitchen. We can completely imagine this tension, but it is a shame if the guests notice it. All in all we enjoyed the food and the waitresses were very friendly. The price/quality ratio is excellent. We had the four-course menu which we highly recommend!
