  Had a wonderful stay at hotel Landgoed Huize Bergen! This historic estate turned hotel is a true gem nestled in beautiful surroundings. The moment you drive up the tree-lined driveway, you're transported to a world of elegance and tranquility. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, perfectly blending modern comfort with historical charm. The breakfast was exceptional, offering a wide variety of fresh options served in their elegant dining room.   I stayed at the hotel from 20 to October 24 I checked in late in the evening, the room was two floors - atmospheric, clean. But the real surprise came in the morning, as if you were in a movie. The main building and the hotel grounds itself are incredibly beautiful, good breakfast, pleasant atmosphere in any weather. Also in the bedroom there was a window to the sky.   The location was beautiful, filled with plants and trees. The service was excellent—polite and always willing to help. They also cleaned the room every day. However, there was one significant problem: the ventilation in the room was set to full speed with no option to turn it off or even lower it. This made it impossible to sleep and get proper rest during the night due to the constant noise. It was a true nightmare.

  We had a delicious walking dinner with my company in this lovely cozy hotel. The staff were super friendly and also professional. We had a lot of different dietary restrictions but nothing went wrong. Rooms had a nice forest view, they were also very clean and well decorated. The location itself was one of the best parts. It is inside a big natural surrounding with small beautiful buildings and fairy lights. I am looking forward to the come again!

  During our arrival we had to queue up to check-in, because of a lack of staff at the front desk. While the restaurant was recommended by friends, we didn't have the best of experiences during dinner. Our server, Tim, had an air about him from the start that we should be happy to dine there. While we mentioned several times that we had a dietary restriction due to a pregnancy, this hadn't registered. After sending the dish back and Tim later returning with the same plate we were told 'the predator fish with a white wine, butter sauce could happily be eaten', which immediately convinced us to take our leave and skip the rest of the 3 course menu. Although we appreciated the chef coming over and apologise afterwards, the way this was handled was unprofessional in the least. Making matters worse, the price for the starter was €18! For just a couple of watermelon cubes, rabarber reduction and vegan feta that's outrageous. Vught offers plenty of good alternatives to have dinner. We did very much enjoy the location of the venue, which is brilliant! Just off the highway, but still very secluded in a very green environment. The accommodation looks fabulous and the rooms are spacious and well-equipped. Especially the bathroom is well designed. Although the beds are comfy, the pillow was too soft for my liking. The breakfast buffet is extensive and make sure to sit outside in the garden if possible. Unfortunately, the three servers present were more occupied having breakfast and enjoying themselves than clearing out tables or taking orders.
