The hotel is simple and relatively tidy. The rooms are quite small, but that’s fairly typical in the Netherlands. Dogs are allowed, which is great for pet owners, though unfortunately, during my stay, some were urinating in the elevator—which was unpleasant. The windows really need a proper cleaning, and overall, the interior feels plain and somewhat unfinished. Another concern was the placement of electrical outlets directly under the pillows—this made me question the safety design of the room. The hotel seems to attract a very young crowd—mainly students or even younger—so there’s a constant flow of people and quite a bit of noise and activity. It often felt more like a busy hostel than a hotel. There were also a lot of "shopping queens" passing through, giving it a lively but chaotic atmosphere. Given all that, I’m not quite sure the price matches the level of service and comfort provided. I also wonder about some of the glowing 5-star reviews—it’s hard to reconcile those with the actual experience. With some targeted improvements, the hotel could become more comfortable and better balanced for a wider range of guests.

Had a great stay, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We were able to rent bikes from the hotel which was so simple and cheap, the bikes were in good condition too and the cycle lanes were easy enough to navigate so I reccomend giving it a go even if you are a bit nervous. Rooms were good and I liked that cleaning was an optional extra so the price can be as low as possible, we were only staying 2 nights so didn’t need it. Hairdryers were available at reception. It's true that the bathroom isn't very private within the room but it wasn't too much of a problem. The one negative we experienced was the very heavy metal coat hangers hang not very securely on the hooks and one fell down and injured my foot. Please have a look at improving the safety of these.

Good hotel for the price, spacious room (quad), but quite small bathroom and sink. Rooms very quiet out back. 15min to the Centraal station on foot, tram and bus are only a few minutes away. Friendly staff, thank you. Some of the power outlets were at inconvenient places, like in the middle of the headboard.

Negatives: room is pretty small, our windows couldn't be opened, and bed is next to the wall and you can see under the blinds so if you've got the window side - make sure to bring an eye cover! Positives: staff are wonderful, helpful, and friendly; great location in city centre, but not loud outside; good amenities, very clean room with hot shower, sink and toilet, very comfy bed - we both struggle to sleep but had a great night's rest here. Highly recommend

This hotel is very close to tram and bus stops. So it's convenient to get around town. It's within walking distance to the Escher and Mauritshaus museums. The staff are amazing. Extremely helpful. They stored our bags for us for a couple hours after we checked out, so we didn't have to lug them around town for hours. The rooms are fun and provide just the essentials. Bed(s), toilet, sink, shower, and one chair. The bathroom door doubles as the shower door. It's like being in a tiny house. I had a great time and it suited my needs. I stayed here with my wife and 14 year old daughter. We had full and twin beds. The shower water pressure wasn't bad, but there would be bursts of hot water that came out I'm guessing as other guests flushed toilets. It made showering an interesting adventure.
