    Beautiful hotel, looks very posh. Elevator with enough space. Tea/coffee facilities in the room. Walk-in showers, hair dryer, extra pillows. Safe in the wardrobe. Breakfast was a good variety: some cooked items, egg, tomatoes, crispy bacon. Continental, toast, deli, yoghurt bread butter and jam. Tea coffee and juices. Tasted very nice but expensive and we paid visitor's tax too (about €35 per room for 2 people). Slight issue: curtains don't all come together. There are spaces between windows and you need to lind and curtains up properly to keep the light out. Lots locally, shopping mall, buses, beach. A great stay all- round.

    Very disappointing service. Will not return My stay at Fletcher Hotel Scheveningen was quite disappointing. When I noticed there was no toothpaste in the room, I called the front desk to ask if they had any available. Despite calling several times, no one answered. I went down to the reception, where a new male staff member assisted me. He explained that the phone hadn’t been answered because he was still being trained, and his colleague — a blonde woman — was busy instructing him. While I understand the need for training, completely ignoring guests’ calls is unacceptable. At first, the blonde receptionist told me that they had run out of toothpaste. When I suggested checking rooms that were already prepared for check-in the next day, her response suddenly changed — she told me they don’t provide toothpaste at all. It felt like an excuse rather than a genuine attempt to help. She was extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming, showing no interest in assisting me. Worse still, she clearly didn’t want to help — and didn’t want the new staff member to help me either. Overall, this was far from a 4-star experience. Poor service, no basic amenities, and a lack of hospitality. I will definitely not be returning.

    Stayed here for a week with my wife, overall this is a decent hotel (even though it did not feel like 4 stars but more like 3, except for the room size). There were a few minor annoyances due to bad communication by and among hotel staff, but there was one specific major mess-up making me subtract a star in this review. One day, we came back to our room after some outside activity, just to find our room wide open, with a door stopper, the bathroom also open and light still turned on. First, we thought that someone is currently still cleaning, but when nobody came by in the next hour, it became clear that somebody just simply forgot to turn off the light and close the door. The room was standing wide open for hours, with our personal belongings inside. Scary to imagine what could have happened. The receptionist who had the shift at that time also did not handle this situation well and we had to come three(!) times until we could report it to the supervisor, who handled it professionally and offered some symbolic compensation. Apart from that incident, we overall had a good time while staying at this hotel. If you are vegan, make sure to mention that early on, so you can get special options.

    Very small rooms, poor service, and most importantly, I was scammed to take 178 euros from the card I used to pay for the TAX ، When I spoke to them, they said Booking took it. What stupidity! The card I used online is different from the one I used to travel. Please be careful when dealing with this hotel. The money not been refunded yet ????!!!!!! A month has passed ?!

    Unfortunately, the hotel is quite unfriendly towards small children. The breakfast buffet is very small, and for a 4-star hotel, it lacks both a swimming pool and a fitness center
