  Very friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms were clean as well as the common spaces. It' was quiet in the evening and we could rest well. The mattresses are comfortable and the bed linen clean and good quality. Thumbs up for the Albanian guy that worked in the night.

  Great value indeed. Just paid 36 euros for two nights. My pod was clean, my locker was functional(I acquired a refundable lock for 10 euros) and I had two good nights of rest. I had wonderful conversations with the staff; they helped me warm up my food in the microwave too. If you are looking for an imperial experience, the Golden Stork is not for you. Nevertheless, if you are seeking an embarassingly cheap spot which can afford you privacy, dignity, security and peace-especially at night in The Hague or its environs-The Golden Stork is the place to be.

  a great hostel to stay if you,re going to a convention or the like. I would like to recommend curtains for the beds for some added privacy and to add per cabin lighting as the light switches for it are already in place. beyond that a perfect place to sleep with a great position for the city center and easy access to the tram system

  It's a nice, decent place at the centre of the Hague. I have read a few negative reviews about this property, but this is my second stay with them, and I found them to be quite professional about their rules, ways of working and hospitality. My deposit was also paid back both times without any hassles. Rooms don't have windows, and this is displayed very well while selecting the type of room, - so the guests know about it while booking. They keep the air conditioner/heater switched on for 24 hours to ensure appropriate ventilation. The reception team is helpful and kind - they helped me with heating the food, and there was no push to buy drinks/coffee from their bar. Overall, a good place to live for the price they charge for !!

  Rooms are ok. The thing that the bathrooms and showers are outside of the rooms is more comfortable, due to avoids noise. The only think that I didn't like too much is the deposit you pay with your card. Staff very friendly.
