  Luxury shopping brands. Small cafe. Helpful in that they have a tax stamp for tourists living outside of the EU BUT they were REALLY rude when I did not get the stamp on the same day as the sale (nobody told me that I had to register it upstairs and it was late in the day). I had to go back the next day and the only solution was to return everything and then repurchase and they made me go to each department to return and repurchase in order to get their tax stamp. They seemed annoyed and I had just spent A LOT of money on luxury items so Im not going back again because of unhelpful attitude and bad customer service.

  De Bijenkorf is basically a pre-2000's high end department store. It takes me back to my childhood! They have everything you expect in a department store from the Chanel counter to the home furnishings to boojie high fashion clothing. The cafe in particular is awesome. I don't even remember the cafes in the US stores being half this lush. The employees are very friendly and speak a lot of languages.

  Avoid. Just avoid. No customer service, no responsibility for their service personnel. I would not purchase anything of significant value. No responses from their customer service either, so I consider their practices unethical as well. It is a different matter to disregard claims but completely ignore while telling you are going to solve the issue is another thing. Few weeks ago, I was shopping here and I was purchasing cosmetics which you cannot pick yourself. The customer service personnel was in a hurry to get the purchase, juggling two different customers and actually gave me a wrong product. Again, a product that I cannot get from the self by myself. Later that evening, after applying the product, I noticed that dang, this looks different that I chose. And it was. Quite annoying situation from a customer's viewpoint as you cannot access the product by yourself. The situation could be also viewed from the cameras that in fact, I did not receive the correct product. But no, almost complete ignorance. And I'm from a different country so I cannot even resolve the matter by myself. I am happy that I just bought an expensive lipgloss. I would be so angry if I would have purchased something of significant value. Based on my experience, I would not recommend anyone to buy anything. Buy from a store that actually cares for its customers. In the image you can actually see what has happened in few weeks, technically nothing. I hope that De Bijenkorf actually reaches out to me to fulfill their promises.. Edit. 13/6/2025. Again such a joke their answer. No email address provided and they cannot find my info from one of their official channels even though there are time stamps in the pictures. Their answer doesn't show me any interest that they would actually like to resolve this issue.

  just love this place!! you can find great brands, presents a nice kids section and good coffee on the ground floor all under one roof...even the building is super nice & historical.

  The Hague branch of this high-end department store. Everything in this store exudes elegance and luxury. However look closer and you may just find quality products at reasonable prices. As befits the reputation of sophistication staff members are well dressed, highly professional, helpful and friendly. Always a pleasure to shop here. PS: it's close to Valentine's Day and the theme is green heart! The Future is Green (first photo) and Sustainable Love (last photo)
