  Sage has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Enschede! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. The staff here are absolutely wonderful — always friendly, attentive, and never pushy about anything. They even help with things like taking your jacket and finding the perfect spot to sit — such thoughtful touches that make a big difference. The food is incredible! I’m personally addicted to their chili-flavored edamame — it’s the perfect mix of spice and flavor. I recently tried their tacos, and wow… I didn’t know I could become a “taco girl,” but here we are! So crunchy, packed with home-style flavors — just perfect. Their ramen, gyoza, and other dishes are just as impressive. I don’t eat fish myself, but my friends did, and they couldn’t stop raving about it — so I’ll speak for the whole group and say: everything was on point. The place is also super clean, with great attention to detail and a cozy, relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay longer. Whether you’re going for a full dinner or just small bites, Sage truly delivers on flavor, service, and atmosphere.

  Very nice restaurant in Enschede city center. The atmosphere is intentionally dark to resemble that one of a lounge bar. Menu has both meat and fish based choices as well as some vegetarian alternatives. Food is excellent and service is polite. Highly recommended! Better to book in advance because the restaurant is not very big.

  We were excited upon entering the restaurant. It's cozy and nice music. The guy who attended us last night is very welcoming and he keeps checking if everything is okay. The only thing we didnt like is the egg on the ramen. It taste different too bitter. I like their yakitori chicken taste very nice and warm. The other guy whos there when we enter is not friendly not even smiling or saying hi, he is not a local, probably he has a problem 😂. We ordered two ramen drinks and yakitori. The drinks we did not pay, they were complimentary.

  We had a wonderful lunch today at sage....stunning cosy interior and the lunch menu was superb the dim sum were an absolute delight the thai fried chicken and prawn ramen awesome.
