  I was able to buy my own bicycle back here, which was already mine and had been "stolen" by the municipality because they thought the bicycle had been parked incorrectly. I never leave my bike anywhere for more than a day. The municipality of Enschede has been running budget deficits for years. pure theft and stealing, even though in principle my bicycle was honest. what does that make me? also punishable? because I knowingly buy a stolen bicycle?

  Found items such as keys, laptops and bicycles end up at Het Depot on the Euregioweg in Enschede. Bicycles left on the street for too long will receive a label after 28 days. The owner then still has 2 days to collect the bicycle. If this does not happen, the bicycle will be taken to the depot. About 98% of the bicycles are not collected. After 3 months they become the property of the municipality. Broken bicycles are scrapped. Bicycles that are still usable go to the sheltered workshop or to foundations. They are refurbished there and given to people who have little money.

  Very unfriendly staff. curt and can only pay in cash (weird). It is not possible to ask if I could take the bicycle with me to collect money. They don't think along at all and make you walk back 5 kilometers because you can only pay in cash, which is not mentioned anywhere. Rotten company

  Super place. People were very nice and helpful, I was able to pick up a bicycle from them, and it was absolutely fine. Appropriate size and everything repaired. Pick up was also really quick, so that was very nice. Thanks again!
