  Took a taxi tonight from Enschede station to Hengelo. I clearly asked in advance how much a taxi to Hengelo would cost. It would be about 30 euros: fine. Once in the back seat, the driver makes a phone call to presumably taxi colleagues to say: "you guys just wait, I have a customer". While I pretended that I didn't find this a special remark, I remained seated calmly until my final destination. Once I arrived at my house: €52.82 no less. Almost double, magic? According to the taxi driver, she would have said that it was about 30 euros to Hengelo central, and not to another place in Hengelo. When she said that she hadn't said it that way, that my house is only a few kilometers from Hengelo central and that my question that it would cost an extra 22.82 to drive a few kilometers from Hengelo central to my house, she didn't care. These were simply the taxi rates and she was already driving fast, according to her own statement. She was indeed driving uncomfortably fast. To avoid problems I paid the €52.82, but be warned: if you want to be transported by this taxi company, count on about double the price mentioned when getting in. I have developed a considerable distrust in taking a taxi, through this company, as you may understand. One star is therefore still generous, but I can't give it lower.

  Taxi driver Emre you are great! Despite the many delays with public transport, you managed to get us from Enschede to Amsterdam in an insanely fast time! Thanks to Emre, we were still able to catch our flight! In addition, he is a pleasant man with a lot of humor, which I really appreciate during a taxi ride. When Emre sits next to you it's just fun!! Great service!
