  Very friendly service with a high level of social skills (small children are well looked after, among other things). You sit somewhat cramped but comfortably on the terrace and can even “fill up” with water there for free. We had the menu that we could put together ourselves twice: the beetroot carpaccio was fantastic, but unfortunately the shrimp croquettes were a bit lacking in shrimp. The Sate was fantastically delicious, very tender with a great sauce; Fish & chips a bit too salty. The coffee with side dishes was good, but there was too big a piece of melon in the delicious ice cream sorbet. All in all: recommended.

  Had a great menu for a good price! Really enjoyed fresh and tasty tender products! Even if you are alone you will receive very good and friendly help. Good, nice service.

  Very friendly smooth service. Dog is immediately provided with water and snacks. Prices may seem a bit on the high side on the price list, but when the food is served, it is also an extensive and complete meal. I had fish and chips, consisting of two crispy fried hake fillets, nicely seasoned, a generous amount of golden fries and a salad of various types of lettuce, peppers and cucumber with a nice, soft, fresh dressing. My wife had the chicken satay with fries and salad, of course the same quality. You will have a well-filled stomach afterwards. You are also asked in between if everything is to your liking. The terrace is cozy and you can enjoy the activity in the busy town.

  Cozy tent, local visitors make it friendly and fun. Sufficient choice on the menu, everything neatly arranged and also served hot. Nice and friendly service, in short, worth recommending. If you want a more luxurious and quieter meal, you can go to Diggels across the road for an additional charge. If you weigh price and quality against each other, we think Het Wapen is the best choice based on one experience.
