  Through the tax authorities declaration I saw that I had not correctly closed my Leaseplan Bank account. There was still €6,- on it. In order to properly close this account I first had to link a new counter account because I had switched and the old account no longer exists. Unfortunately it was not possible to use my business bank account, had to be private. Unfortunately it is not possible to use my private account at OpenBank because it is not established in the Netherlands but in Spain. Unfortunately it is not possible to use my joint account because the counter account really has to be in my name only. The friendliest operator made inquiries and came up with the solution. The joint account may be used but then you have to email us with that information and send a valid ID of the other holder. HOW??? In the worst case he will receive €6,- while he would not be entitled to it. I just want to close this account.

  We have always been satisfied with LeasePlan bank, but since the takeover by Ayvens bank we have been very dissatisfied! Not available if there are problems logging in, for example during the weekend. Send messages and receive a response during the week.. yes, that's right, we were not available 😂 No, we had already found that out! And when interest rates are lowered by the ECB, they are the first to implement this, so I don't believe their lease products will become cheaper.

  The new LeasePlan Bank is difficult or impossible to reach. The well-known very long waiting times by telephone, confirmation of receipt from email is not given and the site is constantly unavailable. However, you will receive a "threatening email" that if you do not do something by a certain date, the account will be blocked. No, this new "owner" of the bank has certainly not brought any progress. We; a lot of annoyance and lost time.

  For years I have always been satisfied with LeasePlan bank and their savings products, but since it was taken over by Ayvens I have been threatened several times to close the accounts due to a lack of personal information about our joint account, I will just let them close the account!

  Terrible service now that Leaseplan bank has become Ayvens bank, I cannot recommend this bank to anyone. For many months I have not been able to use my bank account because there are problems with re-identification. Due to a technical glitch, a pop-up for re-identification keeps appearing. They are even threatening to block my account if I do not re-identify myself, while there is clearly a malfunction going on from Ayven's bank. Disastrous.
