This hotel is one of the most beautiful ones I’ve reviewed so far. Beautiful interior and beautiful exterior. There is a certain cruise ship feeling when you’re inside this hotel and I love that cause I can’t afford an actual cruise so this is a good preview haha. The hotel is pricey, but worth it one day if you have enough money (lol). The staff? Lovely. God bless the receptionist. Kind, genuine and approachable. The rooms? Clean, spacious and well designed. The food and drinks menu? Pretty good. Overall I had an amazing stay at this hotel. This hotel is like perfect for a romantic luxurious get away to be honest. The sunset with the water at the hotel’s terrace?! Amazing.

Lovely little hotel in super setting. No frills but well done and everyone lovely to deal with. Great for bike rides from, lovely scenery.

Beautiful spot but super demotivated personnel and missed orders. The chicken sate is a joke and it can be questioned if the chicken was well cooked. Unbelievable that Fletcher allows these standards!

Fletcher Hotel Restaurant Loosdrecht-Amsterdam offers a delightful Afternoon Tea experience in a serene lakeside setting, and they excel at accommodating dietary needs, including gluten-free options, upon request. For those with gluten sensitivities or celiac disease, this is a fantastic choice for indulging in a classic treat without worry. Expect delicious gluten-free sandwiches with fresh fillings, light and fluffy scones served with jam and cream, and an assortment of gluten-free pastries and cakes that feel indulgent without compromise. Paired with a selection of fine teas, it’s an experience that caters perfectly to your preferences. The setting adds to the charm, with stunning views of the Loosdrechtse Plassen creating a calm and inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re seated indoors or out on the terrace, the peaceful environment makes it an ideal spot for a relaxing afternoon. An elegant hotel with great potential could elevate its status with renovations and improved service. However, its current location may not be ideal for travelers with limited time for exploration. Situated far from the city center, accessing public transportation is challenging. The surrounding area primarily consists of residential neighborhoods, with only two restaurants within walking distance. Upon entering my room, I noticed it was dated and had a musty odor. Despite the hotel's picturesque location by a lake, the full potential of this feature remains untapped. While my room had a patio with access, the presence of mosquitoes outside was bothersome. Additionally, the path to the lake passes by the back of the kitchen, which was unappealing. The restaurant provided satisfactory breakfast and dinner options. However, it would be beneficial if the waitstaff could be nicer and communicate more effectively in English to cater to guests who do not speak German or Dutch.
