Amazing help from the restaurant chef! I informed the hotel and restaurant about my diet restrictions and they accommodated this very impressively despite the fact that the hotel was very crowded. I would like to thank especially to the chef that was present during lunch for being so thoughtful.

Absolute Frechheit!!! I would like to share my experience at the Flechter Hotel Sparrenhorst, which unfortunately was not very positive and rather disappointing. When I arrived, I noticed that my room was not clean. There were mold stains and mildew, the carpet in my room was in a disastrous condition. The curtains were also very dirty and looked anything but neat. The balconies were full of ash and cigarette butts. After cleaning, the rooms were often still not clean, there were dark hairs everywhere in the bathroom and dust was not wiped. Fresh towels were often already dirty or had holes in them. Plates and glasses were not cleared away for days, which further spoiled the overall impression. I dusted myself and asked the reception about it. As compensation, I received a voucher for a drink and a snack. However, I didn't get the feeling that any real effort was being made to improve the situation in the long term. The request for another room with parquet flooring was followed up, but here too there was extreme mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Dogs are allowed in the hotel, but there was no regulation regarding the noise level, which further disturbed the stay. In the outdoor area, used cups were left on the tables for days without being cleared away. It was also very unpleasant to see the cleaning staff on the third floor carelessly dumping dirty cleaning water out of the window while guests below were sitting outside on the ground floor. In the breakfast room, a rag was used for tables and chairs, and staff climbed on the chairs with their shoes on to fill the coffee machines. Such hygienic conditions are completely unacceptable. The staff were not particularly friendly in my eyes. Everything was a burden. At reception they cheekily suggested that I could complain if I didn't like it. Overall, I did not feel welcome in this hotel. I hope the hotel will work on the cleanliness and service in the future to provide a more pleasant experience for paying guests.

Fantastic hotel, very professional staff, attention to detail, enjoyed dinner and good breakfast. Wonderful experience if you want to stay in the nature in Veluwe region and rest in the sauna after long day. Special thanks to Matteo who helped us at the restaurant and Matthijs Broekhuis for taking care of all 25 of us staying here for 5 days. We had great time !

It's fine, but the rooms are too cold and the breakfast doesn't open til 8 which is crazy late. I had to leave at 7:30 and was not expecting to be denied breakfast.

My family and I stayed here for our recent trip to both Walibi Holland and Amsterdam. Location wise, it's in a great spot, the grounds of the hotel are beautiful and the staff we came across were all really helpful and friendly. **However... the hotel is really starting to look very tired and needs a complete refresh. The carpets in both of the rooms we booked were worn and stained, the walls were all marked and the fixtures and fittings, particularly the bathrooms, were extremely dated. We did venture into the restaurant but decided against eating in there because the prices were incredibly expensive and the menu limited, instead we drove the one mile or so into Nunspeet where there's a good choice of restaurants to pick from. Would we stay here again... possibly. It's not a bad hotel, it's just an 'okay' hotel.
