Absolutely wonderful hotel, restaurant, and wedding venue. The food is fantastic (Michelin-star quality), and they consider dietary needs (ideally let them know in advance - they can adapt their dishes to be gluten-free and dairy-free, for instance). The location is stunning, and the rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The staff is great too, going above and beyond (special shout-out to Kevin, Tron, Charlotte, and Nathalie). Our wedding weekend there was absolutely amazing - thank you, Saskia and team!

Weekend getaway with extended family - this place is absolutely perfect. Note that the front of the building is currently under renovation and there does not seem to be any notification on the website about it. Neither when I spoke to the staff on the phone, they did not mention it. Small wrinkle on the overall great impression. We also had dinner in the restaurant, which was great! All very well thought through when it comes to stroller access.

Lovely estate with plenty of options for a special occasion. The high tea was delicious but you can rent rooms for a special celebration.

The room was in the annex basement, which we expected, but it was supposed to be decorated in the manor/ motif of the castle. We didn't think it was (see image below). The only access to a castle like environment is the lobby, but you can only drink beverages purchased on site there (which we were told only after we had sat down to partake in a drink). We were told we could go back to our basement room or the basement breakfast area. Not ideal choices. There was a shared courtyard outside our room, but a woman who came out to read asked us to take our conversation inside?! We had been chatting in regular voices. Overall, we felt uncomfortable. We did eat in the restaurant, mostly because there is no where else nearby. The location is great for going into the national park, but it's a food desert. The food was fairly unremarkable, some courses were tasteless, but the mains were ok. The wine choices were good. In the end, we wished we just went to Haarlem for dinner.

Amazing ambiance, gorgeous trails, quiet location... Rooms are nice enough... Another person in our party was mischarged for their room and had to call their credit card to get this handled. Will not be able to stay here next year when we return
