  Limburgs Truffle Experience at Eyserhalte The Limburgs Truffle Experience at Eyserhalte is a well-organized activity, suitable for people interested in local gastronomy. The activity takes place at Eyserhalte, which also has a shop with homemade products. Parking is available on the side of the shop. Thanks to the good weather, we were able to enjoy the experience on the terrace. It started at 11:30 with a glass of Limburg sparkling wine and two appetizers, while Jacques Leclercq ( owner ) gave an introduction about the Limburg truffle. After that, we joined a guided tour and short masterclass about truffle hunting in the truffle orchard, together with Jacques and his truffle dog, Gaya. At the end, we tasted a dish of carpaccio with fresh truffle, served with two glasses of local wine. The dish was prepared by Janneke Philippi, who also presented her book Canapé during the activity. The experience lasted about 2.5 hours. It is a nice option for anyone looking for a culinary activity with a local focus.

  Absolutely incredible place, we came from Amsterdam specifically for lunch here and a walk. We had a pumpkin soup, very tasty and beautifully served 😌 And coffee with local pastries, fantastic! The store is cozy and diverse, you end up wanting to buy everything! Many things are home made and packed granny-style. Very cute. Will definitely be back!

  Came across this place hiking the trails outside of Gulpen. Introduced me to an incredible beer and had an awesome potato soup with it. The farm store was also incredible. Highly recommend stop.

  Very nice store with lots of fresh produce and products from the region. It is expensive but their products are among the best and tastiest I have ever had. From the bread to their home made sauces, there is something for everyone for sure. You can also have some food and drinks but there are not a lot of tables

  Fantastic place, lunch sitting in the middle of the shop between all the excellent products and produce. Great food.
