  Great find. Delicious food cooked on and open grill, and friendly team. Luckily we were hungry hobbits who hadn’t had their second breakfast!

  I used to come here on the weekends when I was a kid. Although the owners have changed twice since then, the new owner has done a wonderful job of keeping as true to tradition as possible. We got the ribs with a dry rub. The dry rub was a little salty for my liking, but with the meat, it was delicious. The portions are appropriate, and the food was done well. This - for me at least - is a cultural icon of Brugge since in some capacity, it's been around for over 30 years!

  Fabulous! This was our 3rd visit to The Hobbit which is now open again under new management and is better than ever! We booked for NYE dinner and had a great evening. Staff were amazing, food was absolutely delicious & the atmosphere was brilliant. The restaurant was fully booked but we never waited very long to be served each course & staff were very attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are ever in Brugge. The spare ribs are the best in town!

  Really great place for grilled meats, it’s under new management so I’d ignore the bad reviews from years past. We ordered the scampi as our starter, and a steak and spareribs for our mains, everything was so good. Regrettably I couldn’t finish my meal, so be sure to come with an appetite. Staff was all so friendly and you can tell they are taking great pride in their establishment. Highly recommend.

  Great Food, and good service, plus super friendly! We had the endless ribs, and they were super tasty and so soft they fell off the bone, was delicious! Highly recommended!
