I usually stay at Sunset Shores next door but wanted to try a different hotel on my last visit. I had a deluxe ocean front room, which was by the pool overlooking the water. The room was nice. The bed was comfortable, and there was a couch in the corner. The room was big and spacious. I was on the ground floor, but next time, I would prefer to be one level above. The room was great, though right by the restaurant, so I was worried the noise of the kitchen and patrons would disturb my sleep. It could have, but it didn't, thanks to melatonin and my eye mask! Be mindful of that when you select rooms. The pool is beautiful and the restaurant has a decent variety. The food is okay but overpriced. While I ate most of my meals at the hotel, you are better off going to the boardwalk and having meals there. Service was good. Friendly staff. While the hotel is small, the rooms are great, though there was no kettle for tea, and the outlets/plugs are practically hidden. I would have also appreciated a brief tour of the hotel or some information about the amenities upon check-in (like hours for breakfast??). I enjoyed my stay, especially because of the location.

We stayed at the hotel next door and come here for lunch. The food was great, very good service at more than reasonable price. The hotel also looks very taken care of. Highly recommend this place.

So as I was staying on Villa Beach, it was another wonderful warm evening and time to decide, where to go for dinner. My extensive homework was fed into my mental compass and it directed me to Paradise Hotel. It was Friday night and they have a feature called, “Grilling with the Captain”. This prompted me to communicate with them for a reservation. Getting there was easy, about a five minute walk on the boardwalk from my hotel, with the last bit on beach sand. When I arrived, you walk in directly to the restaurant area. The grilling aromas, mixed with that of the sea breeze, mixed with the music, the laughter and chatter of people was intoxicating. I got seated, had a beverage and got instantly disappointed. Why you may ask? It was because they sent me a picture of the grill menu, that contained lobster. It was the sole driving force for me to visit this restaurant. They said they did not have lobster today. The first thought that came to my mind was, is this a, Bait and Switch? Anyway, I opted for the fish which after inquiry, was told that it was mahi-mahi. I requested to speak with the grill master and it was not easy. The waitress had to get permission. even to take pictures I had to get permission. I made it clear that the fish should not be dry. It had to be moist and I did not mind if it was slightly raw. What came to my plate was a small portion, but a deliciously prepared concoction of grilled mahi mahi. It was moist. It was flavorful, with a complex garlic butter sauce. It was unique. Then you walk over to the table spread where service will give you the sides: parsley rice, superbly done, grilled vegetables, mainly fresh carrots and zucchini sliced at a long bias, not overdone, nice and crisp. Also spinach cakes, which were dry. In the sides department, the pièce de resistance was the vegan shepherd’s pie. The top potato covering was soft and creamy yet held its place with intense potato flavor. I have to say I don’t think I’ve had anything like this before. Then there was olive salad and tossed salad. Also few dessert offerings. Nothing to write home about. For the entertainment, there was a one man band that serenaded us right through the whole evening. It was a captivating and memorable dinner at the Paradise hotel, on Villa Beach in Saint Vincent.

We didnt stay at the hotel (since we stayed with our family who lives here) but I appreciated that we had access to the restaurant and beach access! The food at the Paradise hotel was delicious. We bust down mostly on appetizers (chicken finger, saltfish cakes, conch fritters and samosas). The rum punch was amazing. The view in the patio of the restaurant is EPIC. It was a beautiful vibes especially at sunset. We didnt even want to leave. And beach is amazing, it was so much fun. Beautiful clear water. They also have boats that you can take to Young Island but you have to plan for that. Which is in my plans for next time lol. I would definitely revisit this hotel and restaurant.

I stayed here during the week of Christmas into the New Year in the Garden View Room. The rooms are very dated and lack basic amenities such as an electric kettle or microwave or even broom and scoop in the event something were to spill. There was little to no storage options for your clothing and toiletries. A mini fridge is provided in this room which stores little to minimal grocery items. The water pressure and temperature was a huge hindrance. Most days there was little to almost no hot water. The front desk was informed several times with no resolve over the course of the stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the food was mid and underwhelming. An issue also arose where items were added to our bill in error but was quickly resolved by a helpful supervisor/staff. Location is top tier for hang out spots and access to transportation. Close by to several beaches and other restaurants which is a plus. A coffee shop is also located on the property as well as a tour guide company to arrange for trips. It was a 4/10 experience in the Garden View Room, however there appears to be newer/modern rooms which have the potential to make your experience better.
