  We got pleasantly surprised by this lovely and charming hotel with its facilities. Super clean and very comfortable room with air conditioning. The breakfast was fabulous and very well served with a variety of fresh choices. Just one word, delicious. The Hôtel Le Manoir in Marche-en-Famene is in our list to come back. We recommend this wonderful hotel and the marvelous breakfast that is served by Virginie, who is a great host.

  Working in the travel business, I always scrutinize every single detail before booking—location, room equipment, bed size, blackout curtains, you name it. With this hotel, I was so impressed by the Suite room that I decided to overlook a couple of things that would normally be dealbreakers for me—namely, the virtual check-in and the fact that there’s no reception at all. But to my surprise, everything went incredibly smoothly—the room was super easy to access using just my phone. One thing that had me slightly worried was the bathroom situation. I hadn’t seen any photos of the toilet beforehand, and I really don’t like open-plan bathrooms. Thankfully—drumroll—this toilet had a proper door! Yes, in 2025 one of my main requirements in a hotel is simply: a door to the toilet😆. The rest of the Suite was gorgeous. I especially loved the color-changing bathtub and the cozy accent chair. 😍The bed was perfect (200x180 cm), though the pillows were a bit on the hard side—but I eventually managed to sleep fine. Now, the not-so-great part: the soundproofing. The listing on Booking and other sites claimed the room was soundproof, but that’s just not true. It was quite noisy. We could hear the guests upstairs walking around after midnight, their shower running, and even the coffee machine in the hallway early in the morning. That was really the only downside. Everything else, though, was really nice: free parking on site, a water dispenser in the hallway, and a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant with super friendly service. We only tried the breakfast once—it’s only served from 7 to 9 (or 9:30 on weekends), which was a bit too early for us. Overall, a lovely stay despite a bit of noise, if we ever travel again in Marche-en-Famenne we will definitely stay at Le Manoir.

  Lovely Hotel. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Nice ambience. Beautiful rooms. It feels cosy. Very clean. A lot of light. Very affordable. I love the wooden flight of stairs. I really recommend it.

  The Manoir is a beautiful old house which was renovated very carefully. The rooms are nicely designed and in perfect condition. Particularly the breakfast is excellent, with lots of local and fresh products. Even the coffee is prepared freshly to your wish. Thank you for a short and pleasant stay.
