This is a very unique place in the heart of Amsterdam. Rooms - absolutely stunning. Seems as if no expense was spared. There was a mini heat wave and the room had no issue staying nice and cold (if you’re an American who loves a cold room , this is one of few places that can make those dreams come true!). The lighting is configurable and the bathroom floor was heated. The jacuzzi in the bathroom is massive and worked perfect. Service - I was blown away by how well the Butler service worked. I’ve always thought butler service was gimmicky but Hotel 27 executes it flawlessly. They are truly at your service and WANT to impress you! Location - meh. I personally don’t like Dam Square. That’s a personal opinion , I prefer a clean quiet neighborhood.. but that wouldn’t sway me from staying here. The rooms are very quiet. You’ll barely here noise. The windows are double paned. Food - ate breakfast twice. It’s going to be one of the best breakfasts of your life. The quality and freshness of everything is at the highest level possible. Fresh squeezed OJ, fresh baked everything and the most perfectly scrambled eggs. There is even a small amuse Bouche and dessert. Room for improvements - None. I just wish the hotel had some sort of wellness area. Like a small pool and sauna. Stay here. It’s $$$ or a TON of points (65 tons to be exact lol) but well spent.

Our stay at Hotel TwentySeven in Amsterdam was nothing short of extraordinary—by far the most personalized and luxurious experience we’ve had at an SLH property. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty, with every detail carefully curated to make our stay unforgettable. A special mention to our dedicated concierge, Anna, who ensured that nothing was ever missing, no matter what or when we needed it—it was simply taken care of. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday, and the hotel welcomed us with a full-size bottle of delicious champagne, a touch that set the tone for an exceptional stay. Breakfast was beyond incredible—the “Breakfast Experience” truly lived up to its name, feeling more like a curated culinary event than just a meal. With only 16 suites in the hotel, you rarely run into other guests, allowing the staff to provide impeccable, undivided attention. We dined at the restaurant once, but having the same amazing breakfast delivered to our room was a glorious treat. The suite itself, though the smallest in the hotel, was beyond spacious and packed with every imaginable amenity. A large shower with two heads and a built-in steam room, a jet-filled soaking tub, a bidet-equipped toilet, and even a Dyson hairdryer (which my wife now insists we need at home). Every detail was designed for ultimate comfort. The service was truly what set this hotel apart. Merel at the front desk provided excellent recommendations and arranged seamless transportation. Steve was incredibly helpful on our last night, and Marcelo at the bar impressed us with fantastic drink suggestions and wonderful conversation. Despite the hotel’s prime location across a bustling plaza, the windows were so well-insulated that we experienced absolute tranquility inside. While we thoroughly enjoyed exploring Amsterdam, we always looked forward to returning to the hotel—it felt like a hidden gem that we were lucky to discover. The bar has now been set impossibly high for future stays anywhere else. While the hotel’s design and amenities are outstanding, it’s the incredible staff that truly makes Hotel TwentySeven an unforgettable experience. We cannot wait to return!

I travel for a living and this was hands down the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The location couldn’t be better: in the heart of Amsterdam & right next to Rokin station. There is a Michelin star restaurant inside the hotel. The customer service was truly remarkable. They thought of every detail. Our butler, Tim, and the concierge, Sammy, were absolutely wonderful and took care of everything.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Truly Exceptional – Worth Every Star Words honestly cannot describe how incredible Hotel TwentySeven in Amsterdam is. From the moment you step off the elevator, you're greeted by a personal butler—yes, seriously. The rooms are next-level: customizable ambiance lighting, color-adjustable showers (yes, the shower changes color!), and just an overall vibe of luxury and attention to detail you rarely see anywhere else. And then there's Bar TwentySeven... the mixologists here are true artists. Every cocktail is made with care and precision—some of the most meticulous bartending I’ve ever witnessed. The service? Absolutely out of this world. Everyone goes above and beyond to make you feel like royalty. I could go on and on, but if you’re even thinking about staying here—do it. It’s worth every cent and then some.

Living in Amsterdam I would definitely recommend this place if you want to experience vintage dutch life. It is a boutique hotel and never disappoints. Enjoy one of best food here. Worth the price. Hotel TwentySeven in Amsterdam is home to Restaurant Bougainville. Under the guidance of Executive Chef Tim Golsteijn, the restaurant offers fine dining. The cuisine at Bougainville is influenced by Peruvian and Chilean flavors, providing guests with a distinctive culinary journey.
