  It's a shame that so many of the "reviews" on here are clearly written by people who have never stepped foot inside of the property, much less spent a night in one of the rooms. This is a beautiful hotel. Amazing job on the renovation. Rooms are all unique (due to requirement that they respect the pre-existing architecture). It's quiet and luxurious. The artwork is lovely. The common areas are amazing. The staff is still finding their way, as would be expected for any hotel that's newly opened.

  We had an incredible stay at Rosewood. The staff was fantastic — attentive, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The concierge service was truly top notch and made our trip even more special. I will definitely be back and recommend everyone to stay only at Rosewood. It’s simply the best!

  My family of four just completed our 3-night stay at the Rosewood Amsterdam and I must say WOW! This is a beautiful new property in Amsterdam that is centrally located to everything. The rooms are gorgeous with every amenity you could ever need and the beds are incredibly comfortable. But, the real difference at this hotel is the staff! They go out of their way to make you feel special and to ensure you’re having a wonderful experience. Everyone was so sweet to our daughters (9 & 6) from the moment we walked in! Some 5-star properties can be stuffy and not accommodating when traveling with young children, but not this one! My children received coloring books with treasure hunts, special treats, balloons with handwritten notes in our room, and finally the most precious personalized bedtime stories. If you’re planning a family trip to Amsterdam the Rosewood is a MUST! We cannot wait for our next visit!

  This is THE new standard in luxury in Amsterdam. Correction in the Netherlands. Amazing venue, amazing restaurant and amazing bar(s). Their service is off the chart. They are always one or two steps ahead. When you enter the hotel and walk to the patio garden, it feels like you are in Paris or Milaan. We will definitely be back

  I don’t understand the hate towards “ruining a historic building” or “too busy that guests are prioritised over outside guests”. Firstly, the building still holds rich history it’s not like it got wiped. Second, of course a hotel would value the stay in guests over outside guests in order to provide the best service to them and give them a full worth experience they paid for. Overall, great hotel and definitely up there with top luxury hotels of all of Amsterdam.
