It is not normal for a spa to REQUIRE you to be nude. No where on the website without having to do research such as click through a bunch of things to find out that you can only come here two days out of the week to wear your swim swimsuit. In the middle of the week too. It’s literally in the fine print and it should be posted everywhere that this place is nude. this place was weird as. I don’t know what kind of clientele they are trying to get, but it’s definitely giving swingers vibes. It’s really uncomfortable because of how lit it is in every building and in every pool that requires you to be naked there’s not even one location that you can wear your swimsuit. The cleaning lady told us that it would make people uncomfortable if we were in our swimsuits as a trans person I was already uncomfortable being there. Don’t even get me started on all of the looks from the other patrons. I think that they are advertising to a different crowd than their website says just be warned if you wanna come here and you live a little far away and you’re expecting a nice getaway. You will have to be naked and not everyone’s comfortable with that which is totally fine but they should definitely change the name to nude thermal baths. I don’t know if this place got bought out by a nudist chain a nudist cult but it was so weird. I have also never been at a hotel where the balconies to each person‘s room are so easily accessible that in itself was like oh this is a swinger hotel.

I am utterly disappointed with the massage salon at the thermal spa I frequent on a weekly basis. While the facilities are top-notch, especially the thermal bath rituals and restaurants, the massage experience left much to be desired. Yesterday, I opted for the de-stress ritual and was sorely let down. Instead of receiving a proper back massage, my back was simply covered in oil - it felt more like an oil application than a massage. And to make matters worse, the facial treatment turned into a sales pitch for Barbor products. I did not come to the spa to be bombarded with product recommendations, I came to relax in a quiet environment. I am 45 years old and have visited numerous spas around the world, so I know a thing or two about what makes a good massage. If you advertise a treatment as a massage, it should actually relax your muscles. And when it comes to facials, technicians should focus on providing a quality service, not pushing products on customers. If I like the results of a facial, then I may consider purchasing products - but don't tell me my face is aging and I need to buy certain creams. It's absurd and quite frankly, insulting. In conclusion, the massage salon at this thermal spa needs to step up their game if they want to keep customers like me coming back. Otherwise, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

We were told Wednesday’s and Thursday’s were bathing suit days but that does not imply being nude is Mandatory every other day. This would’ve maybe been fine if it weren’t for the fact that the guests were quite strange and a lot of them would stare a lot. This came to the extent that some people would seem to undress you with their eyes. It’s not that we felt unsafe to the extent that we felt something bad would happen to us, but definitely not safe enough to Have to be naked in front of people that don’t just look at you but Watch you. When we had first gotten in the magnesium bath with our bathing suits on we were asked to remove them and that no exceptions were to be made. When I asked if wearing my bathing suit would make people uncomfortable, the lady who worked there said yes. We felt extremely uncomfortable and would not recommend this place unless you’re maybe a cisgendered older white person. If we are the people with the most melanin in a place This big, something’s wrong because we are Very pale.. being queer, trans and poc this place felt just plain bad. We both have chronic illnesses and we both woke up with body pains. Which is a sign that this Wellness center cares more about money than genuine wellness. Weirdness center maybe makes more sense. We came here to rest and relax and instead were just Watched. The hotel balconies have access to each other in a kind of peculiar way as well. The key for your room is a wristband though which was quite cool! The bath robes were also adequate. The restaurant and the hotel just seemed extremely overpriced. What also made me uncomfortable was that in one of the thermal baths I got into, my whole body had so much light on it, like a Strange amount almost as if To Show more of everyone’s bodies? In any case I was glad I only tried going in after people were leaving. We probably won’t be coming back. Cute village though! Also you’re allowed to bring your children if they’re above 12, but I would Not bring my children here. Based on the other reviews I strongly suggest asking the previous owners to take it back before you go under. Earth and her springs should be for the People.

Really pleasant spa. All days except Wednesday you have to be nude in the spa - so if you’re not into that go on wednesdays. Lots of different saunas and springs to relax in. the café is nicer to eat in than the restaurant imo

We recently stayed at Thermen Bad Nieuweschans with the family and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and very comfortable. The wellness area is definitely the highlight — amazing saunas, mineral baths, and peaceful outdoor relaxation zones make it perfect for unwinding. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also appreciated the convenient wellness packages that include both accommodation and access to the spa facilities. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and recharge in a beautiful, tranquil setting.
