  Had an annoying insurance case with Avantax. After a collision (28.02.2023), we completed the damage form together at our table. However, Avantax subsequently issued another (incorrect) statement to the insurance company (that our side would not stand still, where this was previously stated and noted on the claim form) and rejected any form of liability. After telephone contact with the driver involved in the collision, this driver acknowledges twice that what was written on the back of his collision form is not in line with the conversation at our table. The fact that it was stated on the back of the damage form that our side was driving at 5 km/h meant nothing to him, he literally stated. When asked who completed the back side, he stated that he handed the form in to his boss and he completed it. That he didn't see it and he didn't see the final version. Hanging dirty laundry outside is not chic, just like the story above.
