  The place itself looks great and vibey. When we entered, we expected it to be a nice evening; however, their concept and the way they treat you is just disrespectful. You have a two-hour slot, and they serve you with a nice amount of time in between (which I usually love). The problem is that they start to get nervous when you’re actually enjoying your meal a bit too slowly. Half an hour before we had to leave, they kept interrupting our conversation every two minutes to ask if we were finished while we still had food on our plates. After the third time we got asked the same question, we gave in and just gave the food back. Now for the finale: 15 minutes before time, instead of asking us if we still wanted dessert, they came to our table with our jackets. We were flabbergasted. How is it possible that after spending more than €300 for the first courses, you just get kicked out without even being able to enjoy dessert because they’re too slow with bringing the food for this concept (which, if it would have happened, I would also dislike, since you want a proper amount of time between courses) and also too quick with kicking you out when you’re actually enjoying the place? We started this experience as something that could be a place where we would go back to often, to a place that’s absolutely disrespectful and disgraceful towards clients that I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and go spend your money in a better-organized place.

  Absolutely terrible experience at Bar NOLA in Maastricht. We walked in and were greeted (if you can even call it that) with complete disinterest by the staff. No welcome, no help, just a blank stare and a vague gesture to “sit wherever.” The entire place was empty, yet somehow it still felt uninviting. The lighting is ridiculously dim to the point of being uncomfortable, and the music playing was just plain awful—loud, annoying, and completely unfitting for any kind of relaxing atmosphere. To make things worse, the staff were all hanging around the bar chatting amongst themselves and drinking, clearly more interested in their own conversations than in doing their jobs. Not a smile, not a single ounce of energy or professionalism. It honestly felt like we were intruding on their private party. We ended up just ordering drinks because the service was so bad we couldn’t imagine sticking around for food. It was that uncomfortable. Left without eating. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Total waste of time.

  This was a nice bar with outside tables. The service was quick, and friendly. I did not eat here, just a few drinks, which is why I gave no food score. The coffees were excellent though.

  We were visiting Masstricht for a short trip and found this bar in the pub street. We were ordering some drinks, which went really fast. The service was excellent and the drinks tasted amazing. Also we really appreciated to sit outside thanks to the heaters, inside you will be suprised by a very modern-classic mixed interieur. I really love the vibe. The prices are pretty fair for Maastricht. I would like to highlight the welcoming atmosphere ensured by Ricky and his team! We will come again to enjoy the cocktails. Definetly a must visit when you are in town!

  too dark, with this fake perfume that went every 5 minutes on, tables are most high. the food was quite good, it is a pity that interior design, atmosphere and lightening did not accompany this nice experience
