  We were in Maastricht for the weekend and after a quick search we found Sway Café and we had a great evening. Paul was really nice, engaging in conversation and you clearly see that locals frequent Sway Cafe as it feels like a tight knit community. Will definitely be back should we be in Maastricht.

  What a fantastic time I have had at Sway the last two nights. I visited with my brother and his friend. Lots of locals who all know each other, great music, happy, efficient bar staff, lovely manager. The happiest bar i have ever been in. I felt like I had stepped back in time to the 1980s, in a good way!!! I wish i could visit more often! Thankyou xxx

  Very friendly bartender and it seems that it is the only gay bar in town. I was there on a Wednesday and it was quite but very convenient. I am pretty sure it gets better during the weekend.

  If you’re a bit older 30+ it’s a fun bar, staff is friendly and talking to a stranger will do you good here. If you’re younger it’s still fun, nice music, good drinks. However don’t go alone without friends, as a newcomer the younger gays aren’t very open and friendly. They’re very bonded to eachother, but will eat up newcomers.
