Nobody likes getting their stuff taken, especially when your first thought is that your bike has been stolen. Makes me feel like a kid put in the naughty corner when my bike is taken away from me Tuesday morning, and then reading you can only get it NEXT NEXT Monday as it’s a holiday (no sign of holiday hours being implemented). Let people pay the fine and move on with their lives. Imagine your car getting impounded because you parked it wrong overnight… what a joke

They took my bike last Monday, even though it wasn’t illegally parked. They’re open for 8 hours a week, but decided not to be open today, without any sort of notice online or on the building. Which means I get to wait 2 whole weeks for the privilege of buying my bike back from these government sanctioned thieves. Happy Monday.

I just went to collect my bike as it clearly states it is open on their website. I got there, and nobody is there. I called the gemeente to ask if it’s open and they said it should be. They then got back to me saying it’s not open and won’t be open for another 2 weeks. No sign of this on the gemeente website or anything. Unbelievably poor management for a place that only opens 1 day a week. How hard can it be to update opening times???

This here directly reflects on what of an awful country the Netherlands is. First of all to claim that the Netherlands is bicycle friendly and then have a munincipal Bike depot where you can only pick up you bike once a week from 9 till 17 o’clock for 50€… but ok I guess I’ll pick up my bike this one day of a week. Just now I arrived at 16 and am greeted by a piece of paper stating that today they are only open till 13:30. What a typical reflection on this garbage country. As if the one working day per week is to much, so that they have to shorten that day till 13:30 and not even Inform anyone about it online. You simply have to travel there to find out in person. What a joke

Why work two days a week when you can only work one? The info here is wrong, now it's only open on Mondays, but updating this info would take way too much time off of their government paid naps. I get it tho, these hard working heroes need to take time to rest after stealing bikes all over the city. I can't wait to pay 50 euro for their service and get my bike back. But well, if I don't do it within a few weeks they will resell it to a trader in need. I'm just glad that this incredible institution is saving the people of Maastricht from all those unparked bikes. Pay your taxes!
