  Our stay at Townhouse Hotel Maastricht exceeded all expectations! We booked two rooms for an anniversary celebration, and the hotel went above and beyond to make it special, decorating our rooms beautifully and ensuring everything was spotlessly clean. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with a glass of bubbles, along with the option of a comforting cup of tea or soup. The hospitality of the staff was truly outstanding. A special mention goes to Marica at the reception, her kindness and attentiveness made our stay even more memorable. She not only welcomed us with a warm smile but also gave us fantastic recommendations for the best restaurants in the area. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The variety was impressive, offering everything from fresh bread and yogurt to salmon, catering to every taste. Every detail of our experience reflected thoughtfulness and quality. This hotel absolutely deserves a 5-star rating, and we would love to return!

  We stayed in a spacious and very nicely decorated studio apartment. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the linen was fresh. There was a small kitchenette area with a kettle, coffee maker and microwave for preparing snacks, with some cutlery and plates. The smallish parking lot was directly underneath the hotel, reserve and pay in advance. The location is great: a 5 minute walk from the train station and a 10/15 minutes walk across the river into the old town. It is also a 4 minute walk from an excellent high end restaurant called Tuur (they do not take reservations, walking only). We can also recommend Witloof restaurant in the old town.

  We had a very negative experience some time ago. Without going into nitty gritty details: On the suggestion of a business partner we chose to go for this hotel. We paid extra for a specific room that we did not get on arrival. The room that we were given was a downgrade and listed as cheaper on booking.com The staff tried to convince us this room was of equal value even though there was a clear price difference on booking.com. The room was also smaller and lacked the bath tub that we paid extra for. The staff refused to listen to our complaints and initially tried to get rid of us by offering us discount-vouchers for another stay. After lots of arguing with multiple staff members over the course of 3 days we ended up switching rooms a total of 4 times (!!!) only to finally get the specific room that we originally booked. Aside from the room we specifically booked, the other ones were terrible. One of them did not have warm water or heating. The other one was not cleaned (glasses were left, the bed was unmade, and the smell of alcohol lingered). And the third one was just way too small for a family. I am still dumbfounded about this ordeal. I don’t even know what to say aside from NEVER AGAIN. The business partner who suggested this hotel to me, no longer suggests others to stay here due to my negative experiences.

  Loved staying here. Staff is lovely, they helped me with all the logistics I needed to figure out in my trip and I am so so grateful. Checking in and out was super smooth. Complementary welcome soup is the sweetest little touch, and very delicious too. Interior felt very cozy and relaxing. I was very happy with my room. The bed was huge and the most comfortable. Everything was neat, and everything you may need had been considered. I had a really easy time reaching different parts of the city as the hotel is very conveniently located near the main station and very short walking distance to the center. Very much so recommended.

  Amazing hotel - loved the ambience, the staff were all so happy and friendly really comfy beds and pillows, breakfast was gorgeous and plenty of choice and all fresh. Nice relaxed bar area too. Can't fault this hotel at all - one of the best I have stayed in.
