  The experience at this restaurant was simply exceptional. From the moment you arrive, you are warmly welcomed by the owner, Nigel, who ensures that every detail of your visit is special. The food, prepared by the Chef Justin, was exquisite. We opted for a five-course menu, although there are options to try even more, including dessert, which was truly delightful. Its flavor transported me back to my childhood, and it was a pleasant surprise to taste it with almond milk something I had never tried before. To accompany our dishes, we followed Nigel’s recommendations and enjoyed three perfectly selected wines. Additionally, the staff takes the time to ask about any dietary restrictions or ingredients you don’t like, which I found very thoughtful. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Excellent food, a cozy atmosphere, and impeccable service. Without a doubt, an experience worth repeating!

  I've only had good experiences, Nigel is always incredibly nice and helpful, the food is great, and it's incredible that they can make something for everyone even if you have a long list of things you don't like. We had our pre-wedding dinner here with 12 people, including picky eaters, but everyone enjoyed it and thought the food was great. With smaller groups it hasn't been necessary to really send a list of dietary requirements/choices beforehand, but with 12 people it did help I think to make sure that everyone could have their specific adaptions made for them.

  Not bad! By which I mean: good! At Le Courage there’s a set menu, you choose the amount of courses. Don’t worry, there is still room for your fancies. Be it vegetarian or allergies, you’ll be asked about them. The service is professionally and with a flair you’ll enjoy instantaneously. Wines are priced fair and they have a nice selection.

  We had the perfect evening. If you’re looking for a good night or want to treat yourself this is the place. The food was impeccable, that you get a surprise menu is just so much fun and our host was the cherry on top! We had so many laughs with him, very attentive service and he tolerated our preference for sparkly water very well ;) and it was gluten free friendly!!! This is a must when in Maastricht! We will always remember this very fondly! All the best from the German ladies 💕

  This is a must-go restaurant in Maastricht. A beautiful and cozy interior and absolutely fabulous and attentive service. The food and wine recommendations are absolutely exceptional and are outstanding from anything I’ve ever had before. It’s very true that guests enter and friends leave. Thank you again Le Courage for a truly amazing evening!
