The service was much more friendly than the majority of the restaurants in Amsterdam. Bit overpriced dishes due to the location and the food doesn’t feel so special, but it’s nicely well done made and presented.

Excellent seared fois gras. Staff is also fantastic. They come across as slightly gruff when you visit from the US but they really know their stuff. Was particularly impressed with how our waiter rather emphatically pushed back when I chose a wine for the main course. He strongly recommended that I switch to their in house label. That felt a bit jarring at the time, but he was 100% right.

The brasserie is located in the hotel. For lunch you can also use the evening menu. Friendly and hospitable service. The lobster soup is recommended. Sufficient parking (also charging point). From the brasserie/hotel there are also several walking routes available.
