  Good (too) enthousiastic service, food mediocre. Definitly not a "grand cafe", but a brown cafe with a piano. Which would be fine if prices were set as such. Herbbutter for starters was icecold and very hard to spread. My steak was first overdone which after notifying the staff was corrected for what was at best a medium-rare. I ordered rare but was done complaining. My family had a good spareribs and decent salad. Will likely not visit again. Service was friendly and fast. Felt ingenuine at times though ("O my, food looks great!!!")

  First time at this restaurant and extremely impressed. Food is top quality and great value for money. Portion sizes are quite generous for tapas and food arrived fresh within 5 minutes of ordering. Great spot for a date night!

  Very nice restaurant! Amazing atmosphere in the evening, warming gas lanterns, sits with cushions. They have even specifically cooked a vegetarian dish for me and the sweet hearts they give you with the bill - those alone are worth going there for :) Staff is nice and very friendly! I do recommend ordering hot chocolate there as well - you will enjoy it.

  Waitress was rolling her eyes when we asked for a few minutes to decide on drinks, no smile or good afternoon when we came to sit. We did not feel welcome and left, while leaving the waitress made a hand gesture with an "I could not care less" face.

  We just got home. Despite having a reservation, we were ignored by the man on the bar who didn't even give us eye contact for over 10 minutes. Eventually we were given drinks and then seated at a table. It was only 7pm on a Saturday and we were then told they only things we could order were steak or pasta bolognese! The steak was a disaster, under cooked and the sauce stone cold. No salad was available but no vegetable alternative was offered. It was pitiful and I will never take my family there again. A good restaurant plans for the extra busy times like Christmas.
