I had known about this place for a while, and despite it being not far from me, the reviews kept me away, at least until I saw it for my own. Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised. First off, the building itself is completely dettached from any other buildings, it sits isolated and surrounded by greenery on all sides, much like an island, in a rather quiet part of the city. Good for the discreets out there. At the time I write this I have visited the place twice, on two Sundays. So far I have not seen rudeness on the part of the staff. On the contrary, the guy at the bar was very nice. Granted, they aren’t all smily either. The place is very spacious. I’ve been to many saunas and the one is Amsterdam for instance is so tiny, while Tibet has a restaurant area with tables and seemingly yummy food, there is hydro and two pools in which I had fun swimming, dry saunas and wet saunas, movie room, cruising corridors with many cabins, and and very nice deck outside with beach chairs. In other words, you can come here to have fun but also relax. Now, the reason for not giving it 5 stars would be a few notes. While I really like the facilities, the wet saunas in particular are a bit small. One has a weird shape but is ok, you can have fun there. The other one is extremely hot and I could not stand there too long. Besides, the main point is the clientele - a great chunk of customers seems to be above their fifties. This is not a bad thing in itself, these are folks that are entitled to look for fun as all other guys are. But this tends to keep younger men away too. As a man in his late 20s, I had lots of fun with other guys my age even if we were in smaller numbers, both times I visited. All in all: good and spacious facility, good for relaxing and having fun with other guys

Be careful!! of the infrared sauna. My bf got burned (0,2%) his arm and had to go to hospital after touching the wall of the heatsource. We confirmed to the worker there and they said that they already put a cover (black wall, probably made of ceramic) on it but it still super dangerous we think. The wall itself is not made of isolating material which is quite fatal to choose that. You should change it into other isolator or just put a sign on it. If you don’t put a sign we will assume it safe ofc. On the other hand, I really like the sauna. They have new wide jacuzzi (last year only small and always broken). The workers are really friendly, helpful, and nice. Bar area also nice, they sell proper food also big meals for dinner with affordable price. Drink prices also affordable starting from 2,9e. Our favorite place is outdoors area, there we can chill, smoke, and enjoy the sun and bring our drinks, but dont forget to return the glasses. Outdoor area is quite big probably 30 people can be there with also lot of chilling chair. They have a big pool inside but the water is cold. 2 steam rooms is enough to chill, one is warm and the other is super warm. Location is a bit hard to get by public transport. You can walk around 4 kilometers from the station or take a bus that needs to walk again around 1,4 kilometers. But if you like to walk it would be nice since you will pass through along river and parks. This is became one of 10 best sauna in Europe i think. I would rate this sauna: Atmosphere : 9/10 Staffs: 9.5/10 Service: 9/10 Safety: 2/10 Location: 6/10 Facility: 8.5/10 Price: worth the money Overall I recommend this place.

Unclean and too few toilets, an hour's wait for a farmer's salad, more than five minutes directly at the bar for a drink, too few staff, billing errors despite personal identification (locker number). The sauna is only made for Dutch-speaking customers: staff speaks poor English and no German, instructions almost only in Dutch, despite multilingual clientele. When asking for menu in English, only received a Dutch menu. Credit cards not accepted, no indication what the card reader accepts. Only one vending machine (queue), which has to be used to get the keys for the lockers or to get to one's things in between. Almost all playrooms with waist-high steps, risk of falling. Pillows in the rest cabins are missing. No rooms or standard shower connections for rinsing. No rooms or standard shower connections for cleaning. Complicated or stiff locking mechanism at the toilets. No possibility to put on or take off contact lenses at a clean sink. So disappointingly provincial, we won't be back.

0 stars should be an option for Sauna Tibet. Horrendous staff. A medical condition (liver/kidney problems) requires me to constantly drink water, so I brought a small empty bottle to refill with tap water. When the employees saw the bottle they became like these super rude monsters, with 0 empathy, potentially putting my health at risk. Not only is the place a disgusting place to begin with, but now also, I can confirm that the people working there are the worst kind of humans that exist. Pluto in Essen is the solution!!!

Terrible sanitary conditions are the most important thing! The dirt in the jacuzzi on the sides, black and greasy, it can be seen that it has not been cleaned for a very long time! The restaurant floor is sooo dirty you stick to it! I asked to make freshly squeezed juice, the bartender just took out a decanter and poured it into a glass, he did not make it, although he was not at all busy, and most importantly, it is clear that this is juice from the store! A lot of things are damaged and in need of repair. Dirt everywhere! even the absence of bright lighting does not help to hide it. saunas with steam stink of fungus! that's horrible. soap in the shower slides but does not wash and smells terrible. I did not expect that a meeting in this wonderful country is such a rotten place. On Google maps there is no description and photo of what is in the sauna, you do not understand what you are agreeing to by visiting this place. I almost forgot. There are security cameras everywhere, even where they don't belong. For what?! I think they leak it to the network.
