  I really enjoyed my evening with Eetcafé Van Stralen. Interesting and varied menu, great food and reasonable prices. I had a tuna steak cooked rare with a selection of vegetables and a mustard based sauce, delicious. Service was good, friendly, and knowledgeable about the local area.

  Friendly service. We went for the summer all you can eat shrimp, it was delicious and they really served as much as we wanted. Simple selection of beers for standard price. For some reason the fries were not unlimited, sounds strange to cheap out on fries when I'm eating a bucket of shrimp. When the waiter explained, all 5 people in our table understood €9.90 but it was indeed €29.90. I got a bit of a feeling like he cheated on us, but there was a sign inside with the actual price and 9.90 seems too cheap anyway, so we never complained. Probably an honest mistake on his part, but it was a big scare when the check came. Will be back for a quick bite
