  Ideal stop for tourists to drink coffee, cocktails, beer, drinks 🍷, watch Cruises, Water Buses, Water Taxis, delicious snacks and delicious drinks. Quick, gentle, professional staff. Spacious space. You come here in the afternoon to relax and watch the famous Erasmus Bridge 🌉 in Rotterdam. 200 meters away is the Wereldmuseum and 300 meters away is the Kunsthal Rotterdam museum

  Bar-Restaurant PRACHTIG is a nice place to stop by while waiting for your museum slot or a boat tour. It has a great view of the water and the Erasmus Bridge, which makes it a pleasant spot to relax. I wasn’t expecting much, but the fries were actually really tasty, and it’s a good place to have a beer and unwind. Nothing fancy, but definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and want a quick, enjoyable break.

  We were lucky enough to see in the New Year at Bar Prachtig which was a wonderful experience. They put on a 5-course gala dinner with drinks, dancing and delicious food. This was a made very enjoyable by the excellent and attentive staff before being topped off by the Erasmus Bridge fireworks show. Obviously this wasn't an inexpensive evening but the restaurant was packed with everyone having a good time. We also had an excellent table by the window where we could look over the river and see all of the little firework shows. Then, of course, all we had to do was walk outside for the main event. What's also memorable is that the food was excellent and served at a very relaxed pace. This meant that the time went by very easily despite us being in place for over five hours. The only criticism that I can find is that the vegetarian main meal could have been more interesting but it was still very enjoyable. So I think that if you're looking to relax in a place that offers a perfect view then you won't be disappointed by Bar Prachtig. The staff are very welcoming and it's a really lovely place inside. Even better the acoustics are excellent so we were able to have a normal conversation despite both the buzz of the crowd and lively disco music. That's quite an achievement!

  Snacks were nice. Drinks too. But the service was shockingly rude! Absolutely awful. It felt like the waitress had never even heard of basic politeness. At one point, she literally threw the napkin holder onto the table. Every detail of the service was just as unpleasant. It's the first time in Europe I've ever experienced such a hostile attitude from staff.

  A nice place to grab a quick coffee or beer. I also had some truffle fries (which were quite tasty). Sitting by the window, you'll have a view over the river.
