  A great sports center with a huge, state-of-the-art equipped gym, a climbing wall, a swimming pool wit two bubble baths and saunas. Very important, the gym has air-conditioning. Highly recommended!

  Me and my partner have mixed feelings about Wellnesselande. The gym upstairs is great - well equipped, organised, ventilated, decently clean (dusted), with a stimulating but not too loud music. The spa area is a different story. There are two wooden saunas and one infrared, were people are instructed to sit/lay on a towel (sweating on a towel). But this rule is notoriously ignored by a vast number of (male) visitors! And those printed regulations hanged all around, the telephones in garderobes with direct connection to the reception, staff checking only after intervention… in the past 4 years nothing has improved, it only became worse. Those wet wooden benches, sweat stains on them (who wants to sit on that?!?), and the bad smell… I noticed that very few women use the spa (upstairs in the gym plenty female users). The bad hygiene and generally rude and offensive behaviour of guys in the saunas could be the reason.

  Really nice staff, absolutely amazing facility. Relatively expensive one-time entrance (€12,50)! Monthly memberships are cheap compared to all the things they offer you: lots of machines, swimming pool, jacuzzis, steam bath, sauna, heat wall, public AND private showers, lockers, they have it all.

  This is a review focussed on the last two years. Last month the gym has been closed due to Covid. I left this gym because of the non sportive atmosphere. I noticed better atmospheres at cheaper gyms. Also, the prices went up after the first lockdowns to 85 a month. Furthermore it drives me insane that even at such an expensive gym people don't clean up their weights, bars, plates.... I would not recommend this gym even though it looks amazing. Two stars due to the choice for Matrixx equipment.
