It is really not clear what are the prerequisites of them taking the furniture or not. They make people disassemble their furniture and carry it for a few floors downstairs (not even calling before they arrive!), and then they decide on the spot that they don't want it or that they don't take things that still have to be assembled. Note: in the Netherlands stairs are so narrow - you are almost never able to take things downstairs unless you disassemble them. And if Het Goed doesn't even call you before they arrive, you of course don't have time to assemble it back before they arrive! So they really don't give you an option. Because of your bad service perfectly good furniture goes to trash. So, make another system where you see the furniture from a photo or a video and decide then if you will pick it up or not and stop wasting people's time.

I find the prices very high when you compare it to the prices of new articles. For an example, they were selling an Ikea wall shelf for 7 euro when it's in Ikea costs 13 euro only!!!! So, you buy a used shelf without one year guarantee and with missing nails for just 5 euros less!!! This is not second hand!!! Another pricy item is the bicycles, they sell it much higher than it should be!!!! By the way, it is not acceptable for people with disabilities, yes they have a nice entrance for wheel chairs, but they don't have access to the basement or the second floor!!! There are too many things need to be considered to make it a really second hand shop with some better social experience

Horrible pick up service and waste of time!! Made an appointment for the pickup of a couch which is in perfectly good shape. I had to disassemble it because for the pickup it needs to be downstairs, living in a dutch house, this is impossible to do with a whole couch... I even made a video to prove that the sofa was in good condition, however the guy took a 10 second look and said he won't take it because "they don't take disassembled furniture". Nowhere in the instructions this is mentioned, let alone I have no clue how they expect me to fit furniture down the stairs... Don't bother donating your furniture here!

I am not sure why the reviews are so poor, but I was bike shopping 2 days in a row and the staff was helpful, friendly, and offered valuable information on the item. I decided to think about it after I read the reviews, I wanted to check other bike shops, resale places mrktplaats and they still have the best price. I purchased the bike from another helpful sales person. It was an enjoyable experience and I’m happy to have my new aluminum frame bike.

A great second-hand store selling a wide range of products and clothing. The store is well organised, immaculately clean and the lady in charge very helpful and friendly! I don't quite understand the negative reviews of this store but you can come and visit and judge for yourself. I highly recommend it
