I've stayed at this hotel a few times in the past year. Good: * Location is excellent, near the tram and metro. * View of the Erasmusbrug and the Leuvehaven is great. * Housekeeping staff is friendly and they do their jobs well. Meh: * Customers often have no idea how to park their car, blocking the way to the entrance. Bad: * For some reason I always need to physically check-in, even though I am a Hilton Honors member. They advertise you can use your Digital Key, so it's not fun to have to wait in line for 30 minutes to check in. * Generally difficult to get in touch with the front desk, especially in evenings. * Soundproofing of the windows isn't very good. If you're sensitive to noise, you should pick a higher room number away from Boompjes / Erasmusbrug. * Renovations are never fun for guests, but at least communicate the specific impact. If I knew I'd have to take two elevators and a long walk to get to rooms above the 7th floor, I wouldn't have chosen the room. If I knew the DoubleTree lobby elevators would be closed entirely for half my stay, I would've picked rooms on the other side of the building.

Great hotel with a view of the harbor and Erasmus Bridge We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Rotterdam Centre and were very pleased! My room had a fantastic view of the harbor and the Erasmus Bridge — especially beautiful in the morning and at sunset. The room was clean, cozy, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a clothes steamer available. Breakfast was delicious and varied, even with champagne — if you have aristocratic tastes, you’ll be satisfied! Just make sure to come early, as the selection gets a bit limited toward the end of breakfast time. During our stay, there were renovations, and unfortunately, the pool was closed. The reception staff apologized and offered a signature cookie as a gesture — a nice touch. The on-site parking costs €35 per day, which I find a bit overpriced. There are ParkBee options nearby that are more affordable and convenient. Overall, a great hotel for both leisure and business trips. Highly recommended!

I had mixed experiences here. The location was good for my needs, visiting Rotterdam as a tourist. I walked everywhere. The first room I was given was facing the harbor, beautiful. However the water kettle has a slimy scum in the bottom, the shower did not drain causing water to go all over the bathroom floor and spill out to the room, and the mattress was so worn out I sank to the floor when I sat on the edge. I went to reception and they changed me. But due to construction I had to take 2 different elevators to get to newly assigned room. There is a sign posted regarding the construction, however that does not give the excuse not to clean the buttons in the elevator. They were that way for 2 days The bathroom design was horrible. It was huge, but the toilet was crammed in the corner by the wall. The shower has the faucet on the opposite side than the shower head. The intended idea behind this is so a person can turn it on and not get sprayed immediately. Well whomever installed the door had it opening in the wrong direction. But I then realized why it was the wrong direction, it is because it wouldn't swing the way it should because the elevated drain was in the way. Basic engineering failed here! I opted for valet parking, however no one ever moved my car from the handicapped spot I parked in when I went into hotel to check in. 35€ is also a hefty price to park. The only way I would recommend this place is after all the renovations are completed. Stay was April 2025. See photos and videos.

This hotel is located at a very good location. Right now the hotel premises is under renovation so that can cause a little bit of inconvenience. Nevertheless the rooms are very modern and neat. And some rooms offer excellent view of the port city. The reception staff can be a little more friendly and considerate towards the guests. Overall a great property to stay at when in Rotterdam as it close by to a lot of attractions.

In spite of some construction going on in May of 2025, we were very pleased with this hotel. Our 12th floor room had a fantastic view of the harbor, the canal, and the iconic cable-stayed bridge. Check in was fast and friendly, and the staff made sure a minor problem was quickly resolved. The bed was comfortable, and the room was modern and spotlessly clean. While the area is not 'touristy', there are dozens of restaurants within a easy walk.
