  Delicious Steaks We had a wonderful experience at Loetje Rotterdam Centrum on a busy Wednesday night. Despite not having a reservation, we were pleasantly surprised to get a table without any hassle. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere, and it was clear that this is a popular spot for good reason. The service was fine—while not perfect, the staff was attentive enough to ensure we had everything we needed. Our steaks were absolutely the highlight of the evening: perfectly cooked to our specifications and bursting with flavor. The special sauce that accompanied them was incredible—rich, savory, and truly delicious. We also ordered fries, which were generously portioned—one serving was more than enough for two people to share! Everything arrived promptly, which added to our enjoyment of the meal. Although it was a quick dinner, we thoroughly enjoyed it and are already looking forward to returning. Next time, we’ll make sure to plan a longer visit to savor more of what Loetje has to offer. Highly recommended for anyone craving a fantastic steak dinner in the heart of Rotterdam🥩🍟✨

  Came here on a Friday night and it was super super busy. We had a reservation at 7:30 pm, we got there a few minutes before and were seated by 7:45 pm. Crazy busy but it seemed to relax after 8 pm. We started off getting a large bottle of still water and then a Texels beer. For food we ordered: Smoked Salmon Salad with dill dressing, two Beef Tenderloins with Loetje gravy and 1 Beef Tenderloin garlic. All of these came with bread. We also had sides of Fries, Sweet Potato Fries and sauteed mushrooms. The tenderloin was amazing and the Loetje gravy paired super well with the meat. One of the better steaks I've had in the Netherlands. Amazing food and I understand why it's so busy here.

  Very good steak and fantastic souce (had the simple one). It is so good with the steak, with bread, fries, probably with everything.

  We ordered both medium rare and rare steaks. While the medium rare was excellent, the rare steak was thin, overcooked, and came in two pieces. We informed the waiter, asking for a replacement, but the new steak that arrived was medium rare, not rare. The waiter claimed this was the chef’s decision, and despite our request for rare, we ended up with overcooked steaks. The strange part was that my medium rare steak was actually less cooked than the so-called “rare” steaks. At the end, they added an extra steak to the bill, which was later canceled, but overall it turned into a very disappointing experience. We were served something we didn’t order, and the issue was not properly addressed. Management should be aware of this. My partner end up eating half of one overcooked steak which we paid. Please tell me in which restaurant they intentionally serve medium rare when a customer ask for rare and make the customer pay!

  I had dinner at Loetje Rotterdam Centrum and it totally lived up to the hype. The place itself has a relaxed, modern vibe, and it’s right near the Markthal, so super central. It was pretty busy when I went, but service was still friendly and efficient. Only thing to note: sides like fries and salad are ordered separately, so it adds up a bit price-wise. Still worth it, though. If you’re a steak lover visiting Rotterdam, Loetje should definitely be on your list.
