Food was very good and fresh, really great tastes and how they prepared each dish differently. There was no dish which we didn’t like. I do have to say that we reserved at 18.00 and we started getting bread at around 18.45. I know the experience is part of it with the theatre and all, but after the first dish it went quite quick. The two guys who helped us pick wine and fish are really friendly. The waiters could come by more often to ask if we need more things, but they were nice.

After a short wait at the bar we were seated at our table. The concept here is to actually select your (fresh) fish at the 'Theatre' which is then prepared for you and brought to your table. You can also select an accompanying whine from the whine bar. We got to have a 'lunch for two' by American Express, of which the Sea Bass was our favorite and tasted like a seaside BBQ. Friendly service and we even got a delicious Lemon Sorbet cone to go, on the house.

The fish is fresh and the concept is great. But the preparation is aggressively mediocre. There is overuse of pesto in multiple dishes, the batter from the fish and chips was poor. The rest was just fine. The service is unimaginably slow. We waited over 30 minutes for oysters then the small fish dishes came after one hour and 20 minutes of us sitting down. Good to try but not going back there. If I would recommend one thing is the marinated/pickled salmon.

Couldn‘t really feel the hype revolving around Pesca lately. We went here on a regular week night for my friend’s birthday and it appeared very chaotic-there is a poor service and the staff at the so-called „fish theatre“ seemed unmotivated and weren‘t a great help either. After we ordered oysters as precourse, it took forever to get to the next course. We also waited a long time for more drinks etc. It was quite loud, a busy place, though we booked a table and still got a tiny little spare table. As we spoke to the manager we got 10% off, still paid €250+ for 2 people, but I wouldn‘t recommend going there nor would I ever go again. I prefer the smaller, less fancy stuff.

If you want some fresh seafood with different cook styles, Pesca is the place to go. I trust the chef 99%—they really know how to cook seafood right. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. The only thing is, the wait time could be shorter.
